Other than the fact he calls Krok Private to piss him off when the first met and now calls him that when seriously spooked by his own paranoia?

That he’s not stupid. He’s paranoid, he thinks everyone is out to get him and he knows they aren’t but can’t stop thinking that way. He’s smart enough to be a competent doctor, to not destroy the ship because he thinks it’s watching and stalking him, and his friends know this. They don’t talk to him like he’s a sparkling they talk to him like he’s an actual mech who has a few dents and dings and that he’s not defective.

They love him because of him and his paranoia wont ruin that. Sure it will strain it but it will never ruin it.

The vent had optics. He knew it did. He swears there has been a flash of autobot blue up there. No- Spin heard it now. He heard every rattling raspy breath the vent took.

It was watching him. It was waiting for him to turn his back so it could eat him. He screamed in terror and grabbed a blaster ready to wildly shoot if anything so much as twitched.

Seeing the situation slowly spiral Jazz easily dropped from his perch within the vents in front of the larger bot. His research on the mech before him had given somewhat of an idea to what he would be dealing with. An easy smile spread across his face, meant to calm the mech before him.

"Naw the walls don't talk much nowadays, it's just your friendly neighborhood Jazz here. I just so happened to get your designation from a friend, said that maybe you could help me with something."

Spin let out a shrill shriek and flailed are the mech for a few moments before seemingly forgetting he was even there and shoving his helm into the vent. “Walls shut up!” He bellowed then waited. When the walls didn’t talk again he came out and closed the vent.

Oh.

Hey.

There’s a mech in his medbay. “Your friend? Is he a nice friend or is he trying to get me?” Reaching over he pushed the small mech and then inspected the floor.

“That’s a bad tile. It likes to shift when I step on it. I don’t trust it.” He shook himself out a bit more then looked at Jazz again. “Help? You want to be checked out?”

Jazz wanted to laugh at the larger copters reaction but he wasn't completely unprofessional. At least his target heard his attempt to get their attention. There had been serveal other times mecha had written off more subtle attempts and usually that ended badly for them.

His visor flicked in a wink at the terrified con, tone light but his words carrying more of a threat. "I'd be careful if I were you, your blaster is aiming nowheres near anything vital to me and I have a shot lined right at your spark."

"Besides! I'm just here to talk, Spinster."

“PRIVATE! PRIVATE! THE WALLS ARE TALKINNG!” Spinster was having slight memory problems. He was forgetting he wasn’t back at the begining of the war. That his Private wasn’t here. Well actually he was but Captain Krok was also not on the ship at the moment. Nor the rest of the crew.

It was a bit sad that the helm hit he’d taken had made him so paranoid and sometimes forgetful. “Why do the walls want to talk to me? How do the walls know my designation?” He honestly has no idea it’s an actual bot in the walls.

I picked up the new Spinster toy the other day and other than having yellow eyes he's pretty close to the comic. Anyway, the way they put the cockpits on his legs make him look like he's wearing bellbotom jeans! (I thought it was hilarious and you'd like to know)(also! Happy late birthday!)
