Be prepared to admit when you’re feeling tired and accept that if you keep on trying to work, you’ll let yourself, and others down. Learn to manage your time as efficiently as possible. Plan your day. Keep a diary. Don’t rely on coffee to get you through. If you’re unwell, take time off. Breathe and allow yourself and your body to heal - you are not indispensable, so don’t take the weight of the world on your shoulders.. It will still function if you need to take a moment or two to refocus. Be ready to box out negativity and criticism that isn’t Godly, productive and pointing you in the direction of growth. Get enough sleep. Find time to relax. Escape from the hustle. Go outside, let the clouds float by and focus on the things you’re thankful for. Learn to say no. Be confident in what you put your hands to, and be willing to have a hands off attitude when it comes to the guilt of not holding every job within them. There is always a question and a need to be met, but you are not always the answer. Be prepared to let go of the things that don’t work out, no one ever said your life should be mistake and risk free. Focus on the good days, and let the bad days fall second in line. Think carefully. Don’t get too heated. Be willing to forgive. Learn to love. Accept your limits. Value yourself and don’t concern yourself with opinions. Make good choices and know it’s okay to ask for help. Be prepared to give up pushing, striving and forcing your way forward; it is better to come last and feel alive and well, than to come first and have nothing left to give. Burning out is not a result of weakness, it is a result of exerting strength over too long a period of time, without applying self preservation. See it. Know it. Be aware of it. Protect yourself from quitting the marathon half way; learn your limits, understand your capacities and seek guidance on managing who He has called you to be. Remember - your worth is not defined by how much you give, how loud your voice is or how powerful your influence is. Your worth is immeasurable, and defined by His love for you alone. So take responsibility for your future today; and save yourself the burn out. #100daycreativechallenge
