•The amount of pain Anakin is in all the time

•Seeing a city and then planet explode from the ground’s perspective adds so much depth to what happened to Alderaan (even though we did see it for a moment with the Hosnian system) 

•The inner workings of the rebellion, and Mon Mothma’s role

•the importance of Luke being a jedi to the rebellion, the fact that every time they dispatch troops, “may the force be with you” is announced over the loudspeakers even though most of them believe the Jedi to be extinct 

•GRAND. MOFF. TARKIN.

•the sacrifices rebels made (that one ship running into the star destroyers, the rebels dying on the planet, etc etc)

•the Empire’s power structure + how much some of the people believe in the Empire

•DARTH VADER ON MUSTAFAR WOWZA how incredible

•the entire galactic civil war was spontaneous and due to a few rebels realizing what needed to be done

•the sacrifice all the rebels made to get the death star plans (i said it before but i’m saying it again because it’s so so important)

•leia is an incredible liar (she was near scarif but told vader she was on a diplomatic mission to alderaan)

•saw gerrera never stopped fighting against the bad guys
