Summerâs here! Time to hit the beach and *hopefully* find some familiar faces! On Saturday, July 12, simply put your URL into your TPC, and set sail for the international island. With some luck, you might run into another tumblr user! The more people taking part, the better the chances of finding someone, so donât be shy over participating! This is not exclusive to ACNL blogs, however, you need to have a Club Tortimer Membership to join in!
*You can join by buying membership from your own island for 50 medals.*
As always, itâs important to keep some things in mind:
MIND YER MANNERS! Be patient and polite to everyone you meet; itâs free, simple, and the decent thing to do.
Play nice regardless of whether youâve found other bloggers or not.
Be careful not to bring/drop anything valuable on the island. You can organise trades in your own time.
Feel free to chop and change or hang around the same island all day, itâs up to you.
Remember that not everyone is up for trading FCs, so donât be upset if someone wonât add you.
If some bugger wonât leave you alone, you can block them by tapping their TPC on the bottom screen. Unfortunately, in some situations, your best bet is to just turn off the wifi entirely. Make sure your stuff is safe in the basket first!
The game says it enough, but donât give out any personal info, especially if itâs not yours.
Chances are, you are going to run into 12-year-olds (who might not even speak your language)Â a lot. Itâs inevitable. Some of these will probably be typical jerks/beggars/desperate for bells/weirdos, and some of them will be sweethearts. Either way, you might need to do a lot of island hopping.
Have your own fun with it! Last year, some people brought surprise gifts, left bells, and all sorts of things on the islands, but this isnât obligatory. The day is about going out to have a good time!

In the next Animal Crossing, they should have a wifi feature that lets you send letters and gifts to your friends in other towns. Â Like, you go to the post office, and itâll give you a prompt to send to a âfar awayâ friend.
Actually, I think they removede the feature from City Folk. You could send letters via Wii message board and WiFi. Annoying, isn't it?

With the 4chan outbreak happening on Tumblr, it is NOT SAFE. They are now collecting selfies in the #selfie, #me and #face tags, but I would NOT put it past them to go to the tag.
They are taking collected selfies and putting them into pornographic scenes, and this could be ANYONE, no matter of age.
IF YOUR SELFIE IS USED, CONTACT AUTHORITIES IMMEDIATELY, BUT DO NOT POST ABOUT IT. THIS IS A HEAVY CRIME, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE UNDERAGE.
