Okay, I think it's time to say a bit about myself and what I'll be posting here, so that anyone who decides to follow me knows |English not my native language; I use a translator as I can’t speak it perfectly or understand everything perfectly yet|
You can just call me Sakura (she/her)
I consider myself an average artist and I think that’s obvious. There are mistakes here and there, the colouring isn’t that great and the ideas could have been better (fuck, this sounds like a bad add) but I’m trying and I want to fix it. In the future, I want to create interesting compositions, and if it’s something simple with one or a few characters, I want it to at least be beautiful and better. Right now, I’m searching for a definitive approach to drawing, and even as I write this, my style has shifted a bit. I just want to create various comics or manga in the future, so to keep going I need a style that allows me to draw quickly, and at the same time I don’t like a simple style. It’s just that I have lots of stories and ideally I want to draw them all later (there really are loads of stories and in different genres; I just love experimenting with this and trying my hand at everything).
At the moment, I’m really struggling mentally; I’m definitely having some mental health issues due to a lot of things. I’m fed up with my studies, and right now I want to apply to a different place because I’ve got a better chance now than I did before (I don’t want to make a big deal of it, I’m just explaining why I might disappear for a while, although I do want to keep up with my art posting schedule).
Preferences: This has always been a tricky question for me, as I’ll literally read, watch, or play anything—as long as it manages to grab my interest in some way. So if you have any ideas and want me to draw a character, just write in the comments under my latest post or as an anonymous question and there’s a very good chance I’ll draw it.
I’ll be posting art featuring various characters here – either ships or just characters, simple poses or more complex ones, with or without a background. Just some art of various things, like a redraw of one of the fish because I liked how it looked, and it’s sort of for practice, sketches; I might even post something later with the lore of my characters.
Anything, any characters, any items – I’m absolutely fine with it
