@iimagery
iâm so sorry my activity is literally going to plummet bc iâm leaving to go back to college on sunday and before them i have to pack, say bye to people, and generally get my ass together. i might be on like...once a week when i get back bc iâm rush chair, have general life stuff, classes, a job (maybe two if things work out) and iâm part of the safe zone program so iâm HELLA busy !!! but i will try and get to things :)
ayaka chuckled at the other but soon frowned at her, âi will not let you become a homewrecker,â she said half seriously, âthere are many beautiful hunks in the sea that arenât married or in failing relationships,â she sighed . âgood because you owe me. being your wingwoman is really hard work,â
with a groan, the girl eventually gives in. itâs a fair point. sheâd take a lot of labels, but homewrecker wasnât exactly in her top ten to have. âok fine, iâll pick another taste. but finding a talented hunk who is the perfect height where i donât look too tiny is going to be some work.â natalia gives a smallscoff at ayakaâs words, though thereâs still a grin on her lips. âwhy, is it that hard to sell me on people?â
Usually Keoni would have turned his nose at the mere mention of a book, but after all the female had just revealed to him, she had him just as hooked ( though any book with pictures was bound to fit into his radar ). âI think what youâre doing is great.â He mused. âLike, you know yourself, and youâre going places. Iâd kill for something like that.â
despite having been around him fairly often, his kind words never failed to still shock her. there were some things people just couldnât grow used to. âhopefully, itâll be great. if i ever finish it. and if anyone wants to publish it.â at his words, she quickly turns towards him, shaking her head. âyouâre way too hard on yourself. there are so many people whoâve done amazing amazing things that started in their thirties or whatever. you have nothing but time, keoni.â
starter for @iimagery
â have you met my daughter ? â  kai proudly presents his five year old to the other,  â her nameâs lethe, sheâs a bit shy. â
âsheâs adorableâ she quickly replies, leaning over just slightly to smile at the girl. âhiâ she eventually greets, sticking her own hand out. âiâmnatalia.â
terry chuckled and shook his head, finding it adorable that she handed him one from her on takeaway as opposed to grabbing one from the machine. he declined the offered treat and stepped around the girl to stand in front of the glorious trove of junk food. he opened his bag and stuff as much of his favorite snacks as possible into it. once he was done and his bag was on his back again he turned around to the girl and nodded towards the back entrance. âcâmon, letâs go enjoy our spoils.âÂ
before she has time to be offended at his decline, she sees him instead going straight to the source. a much more reasonable approach. she watches as he takes his own stash, a small smile on her lips. âcommitting crimes with strangers. thatâs a pretty bold moveâ she teases, before sheâs headed off in the direction heâs nodded in. why the hell not? itâs not exactly like she had anywhere else to go.
has he really moved on? not in the traditional sense of the word, another lover hasnât taken her place, but when he goes out he almost always finds someone to temporarily fix the void the other left. yet going in an in depth explanation of his sex life with his ex sounded atrocious so he settled for a simple âyeah, i have.â the smirk on his lips was so sadistic in every sense of the word. it felt unnatural on his lips but he knew it would hurt the other so he kept it there. âto apologize? well i guess what youâve did what you came her for, mission accomplished.â his gaze wandered over to the door, he wanted the other to leave but another part of him wanted them to stay so he could continue  to torment them. when they had first arrived the sadness was obvious in his eyes but heâs replaced it with deep seeded bitterness. âyou still love me? youâre fucking sick ,yaâ know that? no matter how fucked up i am iâve never treated someone i loved nearly as bad as you treated me.â
as much as she doesnât believe him, a huge part of her does. it was selfish to want him to still be completely hung up on her. to want him to just put his life on pause as she took her little break and when she was ready, to welcome her with open arms. but she had always seemed to want what wasnât possible. âif you werenât going to actually talk to me i donât even know why you let me in.â the words suddenly just come to her. what was the point? she felt worse than she had already, he looked even angrier than before. it was like they were just digging and digging themselves into this deeper whole. and she was pretty sure there would be no miracle of them striking gold eventually. âi didnât put a knife to your throat. i left. and that was shitty, i know it was. iâm not trying to pretend like it wasnât, but you standing there trying to suffocate me with guilt isnât exactly a matronly approach. youâre hurt. i know. i am too even tho it doesn't matter as much because itâs my fault.  but there are far worse things people you love can do. trust me.â
âsure.â his replies were getting shorter by the second as his patience was wearing thinner. âif you know you cant, then you shouldnât have showed up her.â alec wasnât known for his forgiveness but he found it particularly hard to forgive the other who stood in front of him, because he had given her love and she had practically thrown it away. it was hard for him to love anyone and when she betrayed him it caused him to a feel pain he had never felt before. he had seen heart break depicted before in movies and other forms of media, but experiencing it firsthand was entirely different. âi might not have moved houses, but iâve moved on.â it wasnât the complete truth but he now found it easier to sleep by himself or in the comfort of a strangers bed. he no longer sobbed himself to sleep, so he considered that some kind of progress. âi donât know what you expected from this but you giving me some bullshit apology doesnât mean iâm gonna fall in love with you again.âÂ
she knows sheâs FUCKED to but it very simply. natalia always tried to stay positive. always tried to hold onto the idea that things could get better. not that it always worked. her leaving in the first place proved that much. she had practically made her own worse fear come true. âhave you really moved on?â she questioned, though she knew the answer sheâd get was far from the one she wanted. if it was true or not...well sheâd never really know. that was a loss sheâd just have to take. âi just wanted to talk to you. to apologize. to-- i donât know. i wanted to fix things. in anywayi could but i guess thatâs not really possible.â the moment the words come out she hears him agreeing despite no words being said. the moment she showed up she had learned that much. âitâs not bullshit though. i mean it. all of it. and itâs fucked up, and doesnât make what you went through better, or magically take us back but...i do mean it. even if you donât still love me, i still love you. i guess i just wanted you to know that.â
the blonde kept her eyes locked on the otherâs face. of course she was going to say yes, but she liked the dramatics. she wanted it to be a bit drawn out. it was nice, and very entertaining. âto be honest, you had me at getting drunk and not paying for it,â scarlett admitted, breaking her stoic facade as she fell into a small pool of laughter. âso should we go now? iâm free, i just wanted to mess with you.â
her eyes widen for a slight moment, mostly shock that she had actually fallen for it. though itâs not exactly a huge surprise. natalia always had been a fairly gullible girl. âi thought that would sellâ she teases, an excited grin growing on her lips. âyeah, the sooner the better. i donât want to miss the good lighting.âÂ
making a spot on the couch, cup in hand natalia gave a grin to the person in front of her. âon three i dare you to chug the entire thingâ she teased to the person in front of her, holding hers up as a signal that sheâd do the same. the girl loved parties, especially when drinking games came into play. maybe it was because she moved around a lot and parties seemed to be part of some sort of welcome to town thing, but she found herself in these situations more than the average person. âone. twoâ she counted, one finger shooting up with each syllable. the last one was muted by the cup, but the last finger rose giving signal to chug. she joined in, the cocktail stinging slightly down her throat but it wasnât anything she couldnât handle. there were very few things that made her back down from alcohol related challenges actually. bringing the cup down she saw that the other person was already done, giving a sigh that she hadnât beat then. âhowâd you do that?â she question, an amused smile forming on her lips.
âYeah, see, Iâm not too sure about that. Iâll get back to you.â He grimaced, sucking air through his teeth as he stretched back again the chair. Her laughter was music to his ears, and quite honestly he was a lot prouder of this accomplishment than he shouldâve been. Sinking his teeth into his lesser lip, he took note of what she had pointed out, and finally began to detect the difference. âAlright, I see it. I can dig it. And you justâ compete with other people on things like this?â
âyeah. well, sometimes. i mostly just sell it when i can, try and get into galleries. mostly add the ones i really like to my book. the one iâm working on anyway. iâm thinkiâm finally figuring out my style.â the simple fact was beyond exciting to her. sheâd spent years changing locations, films, style, from film to digital, just searching for something she liked. in the end, she probably just needed to find a place she liked.
sheâs checking herself out in the window, only to turn around and see someoneâs noticed her. âcan we just pretend you didnât see that?â no natalia, you cannot.
in all honesty, terry could give a ratâs ass if someone was stealing from the vending machine. in fact, he wouldâve done the same if he had been the first person to find it wide open. he just happened to be coming around the corner when the girl turned around and who was he to turn down an opportunity to talk to a cute girl. âi wonât tell anyone if you hand me a bar of Twix.â
at his words, her nerves calm considerably. with the threat of trouble out of her horizon, she gives him a smile, fingers plucking one from her small stack. âiâd consider that a small price to payâ she admits, overing the candy in his direction. âvery nice taste, i must admit.â
âthose poooor unfortunate souls!â sheâs singing the words at the top of her lungs, obviously having the time of her life with singing the words sheâs memorized as a kid. then all of a sudden she shuts up, looking up at the person whose leg sheâs using as a headrest, âi just realized something.â her voice is dead serious as she speaks, as if sheâs about to bring up something of importance, âwe forgot to order chinese.â
very focused on her phone, some sort of article about some far off place not even she could dream of visiting, her focus is pulled down once the singing stops. âwhat?â she questions, eyes slightly widening by the curiosity. with the answer, of course, she lets out a gasp, fingers already scrolling through her contacts. âwell we have to do something about that. ASAP. how could we let something like that slide by us?â
