The desire to stop time and process all the things you've achieved is not an uncommon thing to do. Lying on the grass in her work clothes, [name] didn't care about whether it was gonna be dirty or not. The peaceful atmosphere made her leave out the distant noise of the bustling city and cars, thinking to herself, she was glad she held through.
All her hard work paid off—now she's the co-owner of a family inherited bakery. Thinking of nothing but that, she reached for the stars, drawing shapes of the constellations she saw with the tip of her index.
She still couldn't process it. Her, a second year who was on the verge of failing her classes, finally owning a bakery after all the things she went through? It sounded like a plot armor for a slice of life anime; unrealistic, but realistic at the same time.
[name] wondered if she could reach for more achievements as she closed her fist on the brightest star in the sky.
She wished, and hoped, and wanted to be greedy at least once.
And then—

. . .
. . . . . .
An unfamiliar ceiling.
The lights were closed, but she could tell it looked modern—maybe even expensive. It would pass as a hotel ceiling. Did she fall asleep? What did she do last night? She couldn't remember, her head was aching trying to recall it. No matter, it was probably something unimportant.
[name] ran a hand through her hair. It felt a bit different, had she gone to a hair salon last night? She groaned in irritation.
She paused. Wait.
Why was her voice deeper than usual?
She took a glance at her hand.
It looked NOTHING like hers. In fact, it looked like it belonged to a BOY.
She sat up from her bed, surprised that she wasn't the least bit dizzy from how quick her action was. Wait, this wasn't her room. Who the hell are the other two sleeping in the beds next to hers!? The orange-haired boy was drooling all over his pillow! And why the hell was the gray-haired guy chewing in his sleep!?
Standing up, she immediately looked for some kind of thing that could reflect her appearance. Across the room was the lit up bathroom acting as a nightlight, its door slightly open as if it was a gateway to heaven. [name] speed walked to the bathroom and locked the door quietly.
One turn to the mirror made her want to ask God some questions herself.
Who was the boy in the reflection?
Curly red hair, bright and innocent cyan eyes. Rather good looking, average build. She felt like she had seen him before.
But her biggest question was,
WHY WAS HE MIMICKING HER MOVEMENTS?
When she felt her face turn hot, the boy in the reflection did the exact same thing. She touched her face, he did too. She pulled on her hair, he did the same. She pinched on her cheek, he did too.
"Ow..." She murmured. But somehow, the voice sounded nothing like hers. [name] messed her hair up even more than it was, whining in confusion.
...Until it hit her.
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH—! WHY AM I A BOYYYYYYY!?"
date: october 29, 5:44 AM
. . .
. . . . . .
A knock on the door forced him awake.
His body didn't feel like waking up, even if he wanted to. It was like a million weights were put on him and he had to use all his effort to open his eyes. Hiiro was met by a blinding light from the crack of the slightly open door. He managed to sit up with his elbows and rub his eye.
He noticed some strands of hair in his face. Was his hair getting longer? Maybe he should have a haircut.
The boy felt so drowsy he never felt a presence sneaking up to him on his side, poking him on the shoulder and saying,
"Aneue*." *informal way of calling someone 'older sister'
Hiiro immediately scrambled to what seemed like the edge of his bed, eyes wide as he stared at a boy no older than 13 looking at him with a deadpanned expression. Now that he was wide awake, he noticed he wasn't in a room he was familiar with. Even the clothes he wore weren't familiar.
"A—'Aneue'...?" He murmured. His voice sounded higher than it usually was. Had he eaten something last night? He couldn't remember. That was concerning, he usually has good memory. Had someone abducted him? He heard it was most likely for famous people like him.
"Duh, who else is in the room? The ghost of our grandfather?" Responded the boy in a rather disrespectful way. This made Hiiro look around in panic, mind running to figure out how to exorcise the said ghost and escape the room. The boy sighed. "Mom, Aneue's acting weird again!"
Why did he keep calling him 'Aneue'? He's not a girl—
"Leave your sister be, Shou! You literally scared her awake, of course she's gonna act like she saw a ghost!" Yelled a lady from across the hallway outside the room. Footsteps approached the doorway and a lady in her mid 30's appeared with a bag in her hand. "It's like, 5:45 in the morning, cut her some slack."
Hiiro was too dumbfounded to speak or even move. What was happening? Who are these people? Why did they keep calling him a girl? I mean, he was fine with wearing girl clothes on occasion, but—
"We'll be heading out now, I trust that you rest after the stressful week you've been through?" Said the lady, approaching him and rubbing his head. He let out a surprised whine. Realization hit him—his voice wasn't even his to begin with.
"Y-Yeah..." He managed to croak out, playing along with whatever was happening at that moment. "Are you going somewhere?"
The lady, who he assumed was his 'Mom', even though he never met his actual one before, pinched his cheek. "It's not new that you've forgotten stuff, but we already talked about this last night!" She stated. "Me and your brother are going to his new school across the city. We're staying there for a day and we'll be back by Monday."
Hiiro weakly nodded. New school? His brother? But his brother is too old to go to school. Maybe she meant the boy named Shou?
"O-Okay, have a safe trip..." He replied, clutching his arms that felt a bit different from his.
"You assured that you can manage the house yourself for a few days, but you look nervous. Should I call my friend to stay with you here?" Asked the lady. Hiiro immediately shook his head. He couldn't handle meeting more people by surprise, it was overwhelming. It reminded him of his first time in the city.
"I'm fine." He answered. Hiiro could feel the concern radiate off the lady for some reason. Had he done the wrong move?
He heard the lady hum. "There you go again, saying you're fine and all that stuff. But if you say so..." She trailed off. "Shou, get your bag downstairs, we're heading out now."
"Okaayy," said the mentioned boy, walking out of the bedroom and to the hallway.
The lady kissed Hiiro's cheek. "Now, don't forget to keep the house tidy. If there are any visitors looking for me, you know what to tell them." She said. "And don't let strangers into the house. I have a bat hidden under your bed for convenience."
She has a what under his bed?
But those were orders. Naturally, he should follow them.
"Yes, Mom. Shall I see you out?" Hiiro asked, pretending to still be drowsy as to not alert the lady.
"No need, I'll lock the doors myself. Keep sleeping." She replied, rubbing his head once again and walking out of the room. "We'll be heading out now, love you!" Were her final words before shutting the door of the dimly lit room.
Silence took over. Hiiro stared at the closed door, wondering what was even happening. He heard the distant sound of a gate and two voices, probably Shou and his mom.
He raised a hand. It looked different from his, why was that? He touched his face. Had someone perform a surgery on him? What was the reason? And why was he at someone else's home? Was he sold to the lady from earlier? No, that's impossible—she looked kind and caring, like a normal mother would.
Looking around the room, his eyes caught the sight of a mirror covered by a white piece of cloth. He stood up from the bed and walked over to it, not minding the pair of sandals next to the bed. The cold hardwood floors felt good on his feet, anyway.
Hiiro stood in front of the mirror, reluctant in even touching the cloth. But nonetheless, he grabbed the fabric and pulled it off with all his might.
He didn't expect a different sight to greet him in the mirror.
A girl, no older than 16. [hair color] hair and [eye color] eyes, a few dyed strands on her hair. She wore a pair of shorts and a light oversized t-shirt, fit for sleeping. Rather good looking, he might say.
But why was she copying his actions?
He dropped the cloth onto the floor and walked closer to the mirror, inspecting the sight himself. Was this a prank? He ran a hand through his hair, and the girl did too. He was able to get a good look of her face now that the hair wasn't in her face. He tilted his head, she did too.
"Ah," he said.
It was easy for him to gather the weird things that happened in just a few minutes, so he was able to connect the dots and come to a conclusion.
Why was he in someone else's body?
He forced out a chuckle. That's what he should do, right? Laugh in situations where you're supposed to panic, and stay calm. "Ahahahahah..."
But his attempt was futile, for the panic and worry still ate him up as he continued staring at the mirror in desperation. Brother, he thought. What should I do?

— "who are you!? who am i!?" they both thought the moment they woke up from what felt like a long dream. one look in the mirror gives them a million questions: who is this!? this isn't me!
the magnet effect (upcoming shiratori aira/gn!reader social media & soulmate au)
— aira believes people have googled many stupid things like 'is there a bacon shortage predicted for next year?' or 'what kind of pigs eat people?', but nothing would top his disappointment in himself for typing 'what do you do when a ghost possesses your phone?'.
ritsu already had a sibling chasing him around, so having another one wasn't particularly thrilling. to put it simply, he wasn't exactly ecstatic about it.
however, unlike rei, you never actually wronged him and therefore he didn't try to run and hide any time you approached him. still, he didn't really pay attention to you and just let you follow him around like a stray puppy.
well, unless it was just you two. whichever way you put it, ritsu was an enigma. he acted like he didn't care in public, but the moment it was just you guys in a room, he liked to spoil you.
ritsu carries around snacks, like gummies and such, around just for you.
other times he brings things like a handheld gaming console or a puzzle in hopes to distract you and make you sit down somewhere and forget the fact you were following him around.
similarly to everything else, he didn't care if you were to hug him, but he didn't reciprocate it in public. something about “anija will get even more annoying if i treat you better”.
☆ — NAZUNA NiTO !!
nazuna didn't mind. after all, he was your older brother and being treated as such made him very happy.
still, following nazuna around was a challenge. he ran from place to place doing various jobs, seemingly always on the go, because that's just how diligent he was.
well, let's just say that eventually you got really tired, which was why he actually stopped overworking himself. it wasn't your plan, but one day away from his beloved sibling made him realize how much work he was doing.
nazuna would always stop to buy you something to eat during a long day. even if you didn't ask for it, he wanted to take care of you and refused to take no for an answer.
it seemed as though he was always more energetic and hardworking when you were around. you've noticed it, too, when he came home really late the one day you stayed home and he looked totally beat.
needless to say, he was thoroughly enthusiastic to be around you and would only separate from you if you had your own work to do.
☆ — iBARA SAEGUSA !!
he's totally insane, that guy, a complete workaholic. similarly to nazuna, ibara is almost always busy with his own job. running a company was incredibly exhausting to him, and so boring to you.
nevertheless, he mostly stayed in his office all day when he was just working. ibara may be loud and obnoxious, but he preferred efficiency. this, for you, meant that you got to sit around in his fancy office couch and roll around on it all day until he decided to end it for the night.
well, it was a difficult task for you, though.. you were with him because you wanted attention, not to watch him do his job! and not to mention how unhealthy his work schedule was..
every single time he ended up overworking himself, you would say something along the lines of, “i'm not coming to cheer for you at the next concert!” and suddenly, what do you know! he's all ears.
similarly, spilling marbles all over his desk works wonders! this also works with any small material of which you've got plenty to spare!
ibara always says you're the most annoying creature on earth, but even if he sounds bitter, the moment you pull that sad look, he's immediately taking it all back.
☆ — TORi HiMEMiYA !!
tori.. well, he's almost stealing your spot as the cute clingy sibling, except he tends to act untouchable and independent until you absolutely spoil him rotten.
you're probably the only person allowed to touch his hair, because if it were anyone else, he would probably scream. but you? pet it, style it to your liking! he is your cute sibling, is he not?
tori absolutely adored your clinginess, too. you've never heard a single complaint from him, and he would even tell people off if they were somehow bothering you.
although tori's primary duties were unit practices, he always loves having you watch him. he puts extra effort into everything if you're there! you've even had the other fine members ask you to stay for longer.
unfortunately for you, following tori into any store would immediately result in him asking you to buy him something. “i promise i'll buy you a gift back!” and then he never actually does.. but you still cave in anyway.
☆ — HiYORi TOMOE !!
hiyori may not act like it, but he absolutely adores you! being followed around by his cute sibling gives him the feeling that he's constantly being admired.
he tries to look as cool around you as possible, always expecting your face to hold a look of amazement. he's the coolest and you both know it! so make sure you tell him so!
because he's such a wonderful brother to you, hiyori will often buy you sweets every time you visit a café with him. it's almost become a tradition for you two to visit his favorite café on fridays after practice.
speaking of practice, you attend all of them, of course. you're with him all the time and you're always allowed to participate in anything eden or eve have going on. normally, hiyori would drag you along to perform any sort of choreography they've prepared.
he's never opposed to affection, so he usually lets you hug him a ton and even holds your hand in crowded areas. after all, he has to make sure you're taken care of, right?
Izumi with a Ghost!Reader who just wants to help !!
Synopsis : Izumi's been dealing with strange phenomenon that can't be explained for quite some time now, but the one who's been causing them doesn't seem all that bad…
How does Izumi react to a ghost!reader who just wants to help him out through small acts of service ??
A/N : My first ever post wooo !! I had a ton of fun writing this concept !! I couldn't find what Natsume calls Izumi on his wiki so I based it off of what he calls Chiaki and Kaoru since Izumi's also in their class...
I hope you enjoy regardless !!
•❅───✧❅✦❅✧───❅•
This is ridiculous. Izumi could've sworn that he left his school bag on a chair in his study room. So why the hell is it hanging on the coat rack beside the front door?! This has been happening for months now and he doesn't know what the hell's going on. He knows that he isn't sleep deprived. After all, as a model he needs to make sure he gets enough rest in the first place, and Izumi knows for a fact that his parents always leaves the house before him, let alone never goes inside his room in the first place !! So Izumi's just racking his brain trying to figure out what's happening to him.
This isn't even about the bag anymore !! Strange things have been happening to him for a while now that just couldn't be explained. When he woke up, he noticed that his desk seemingly organized itself from the night before. Once, he found his shoes systematically placed in rows when he clearly remembered he discarded at least one pair beside the door. Another time, a cup of green tea randomly appeared on his bedside table when he came back home late from practice. Medicine [ measured to the precise amount ] and a cup of water appeared on his desk when he showed subtle signs of being sick… and that was just scratching the surface!
He complained to the other members of Knights about this during their break times, all the while fighting the urge to pull on Leo's ponytail at mere the prospect of him hinting at the fact that Izumi's being watched by aliens. He never believed in the supernatural. After all, there has to be a more logical explanation to the phenomenon he's experiencing.
"They don't exist, so it can't be supernatural."
was what Izumi thought, until the "hauntings" started to happen in school with everyone else noticing.
Izumi's lunch box randomly appeared in their studio when Tsukasa clearly remembered that it wasn't there before they searched for Leo together. Let alone the fact that he saw Izumi place it in his locker this morning, which was always locked !! His bag seemingly packed itself up when Arashi definitely saw his stationary and notebooks on his desk before they left for refreshments just outside the door. Izumi's knitting kit laid neatly on top of the kotatsu even though Ritsu absolutely saw him put his kit in his bag a second ago. Izumi's IPod was placed on the speaker system, all set up and ready for practice, even though Leo undeniably saw Izumi place it in his bag just moments before.
The more these strange moments occurred, the more everyone scratched their heads trying to figure out what was going on. Leo already accepted the fact that Izumi was most likely being experimented on by aliens but everyone kept shutting him down. That was until Natsume randomly passed by Knights' practice room. Their door was open, causing their small quarrel to slip out into the hallway and with a quick, curious glance inside, Natsume stopped dead in his tracks and, without hesitation, asked; "Do you find this whole thing enterTAINING; Being in whITE?"
Everyone immediately quieted down as they watched Natsume seemingly converse with something. Well… more like “someone.”
. . .
"You just wanted to hELP? Well thEN, why don't you try to clear things UP? It seems like they’re fighting because they didn't know it was yOU."
. . .
Izumi was about scold Natsume for seemingly “pretending” that there was a "ghost" just to spook them out and waste their time, but stopped himself when he heard what Natsume said next:
“You don’t want to scare them even more because you apparently did by moving Sena-senpai’s stuff arOUND? But you didn’t mean any haRM, NO?”
. . .
“ 'Maybe you went too far this tIME?' That’s understandABLE. Well… Since I made your presence knOWN, do you want me to relay anything to thEM?"
. . .
“They apologize for any confusion or trouble they may have caUSED, especially to Sena-senpai, and will stop if you wish for them to do SO.” Natsume explained, causing Leo to gasp and shout about the fact that he was right !! Well… Sort of?
“I told you, you were being watched Sena! The king is never wrong Wahaha~☆” causing Izumi to pull on his ponytail to get him to shut up, which worked !! [ Poor Leo... ]
While Izumi was trying to process what just happened and slowly come to terms that yes !! Ghosts apparently do exist !! He thought back to all the unexplainable things that happened to him. The more he thought about it, the more he realized that the actions themselves weren’t annoying… It was the fact that he couldn’t comprehend what was happening to begin with, that was annoying. This so-called “ghost” seemed polite enough though… Never gave him trouble necessarily… If there was better communication then maybe…
“Hm! I guess I can accept their apology, but to make up for all those times that they were so~annoying they could at least do things when asked. Do they realize how annoying it gets, not knowing where your stuff went, because someone else moved them without your permission!”
Natsume glanced at an empty space in the room and sighed; “They said that 'wouldn’t be an issue' and they 'promise to do that from now ON. So just call their name if you ever need sometHING.' Their name is [ Y/N ] by the wAY.” He took one more glance back at the empty space before adding, “They also said soRRY, agAIN…”
Ever since that incident, Izumi [ and by proxy, the rest of Knights ] continued getting small doses of help from this so called "[ Y/N ]." You followed through with your promise and helped around when asked but, during busy times when everyone was too caught up in their own work, Izumi noticed that things seemingly reverted back to the past.
New bottles of water appeared on an empty table in the studio, his bag was all packed up after a long practice session, his shoes laid neatly by the door after mindlessly discarding them the day before…
At least now, he finally knows who’s behind these small acts of kindness, and can finally bring himself to appreciate it.
