La Venezuela que no Conozco/ The Venezuela I no longer know                          I peel layers of clothes from my body signifying the skin of Venezuelans that have lost their lives struggling for change. In addition, they represent stories of those who suffered the disappointments of a Revolution that promised to restore equality by ending poverty and corruption. Instead, it delivered deprivation and degeneracy. My beloved Venezuela has become a chaotic, dying society deprived of; Food, Shelter, and Proper Medical Care. A nation whose terminal illness is the current totalitarian regime whose facetious “revolutionary” ideas, mismanagement and disregard for human dignity have created “The Venezuela I no longer Know.” "La VeneZuela Que No Conozco"
