You could see it in her dull green eyes as soon as Giorno took his seat next to you:
Regret
The woman sat in front of you with her hands folded in her lap and a weak smile on her pretty red lips. If it weren’t for the gray streaks that decorated her nicely plaited brown hair, you would have thought she was no older than 25. But there was no mistaking the relation between Giorno and his mother. They shared the same focused eyes and pouty lips.
Giorno laces his fingers with yours and you can feel the sweat on his clammy hands stick to you. He was nervous, there was no doubt about it. Nearly fifteen years had gone by since he last saw the woman; you’re sure he’s reliving a lot of his childhood in the instant she opens her mouth so speak.
“Haruno, you look so handsome. And your hair, when did you-”
“I go by Giorno Giovanna now.” He quickly corrects her and lets out a shaky breath. “As for my hair..lets just say I started dyeing it when I started school.”
She quirks up an eyebrow once he finishes. She seems deep in thought but soon she bursts into a peal of heartwarming laughter that seemed to ease little of the tension in the room.
“Oh dear! Don’t you know it’s not safe to steal other peoples names? Especially some Mafia guys name!” She finishes with another bit of laughter. When she sees neither of you laughing she wipes away a fake tear and quickly composes herself. With the silence that befalls the room, you take the opportunity to introduce yourself.
“it’s nice to meet you Mrs.Shiobana.” You say as you hold out your hand to her. She takes it with grace and smiles once she catches your name.
“(y/n) is it? What a pretty name. Are you responsible for Haruno’s change of heart?” She asks.”You know I missed him dearly, but he never visited me once in these 15 years! How cruel of a son to-”
“I don’t need to hear any of that Mrs.Shiobana. Giorno has already told me a lot about his childhood.” Her face sours and she leans back into her seat. The once sweet demeanor shifted into narrowing green eyes and perfectly pursed lips. “I only came to recognize you as his mother, but know I will never forgive you for any of the cruel things you put him through.”
The door to the comfortable home opens and in steps a man, tall and rough around the edges. He’s pretty well built for his age and his features seemed to permanently be stuck in a menacing way like a stone. He hangs up a jacket and then turns to see the three of us sitting in his living room. He glances over me in silence but then he sees Giorno and he stares at the man sitting next to you and squeezing your hand for comfort. Giorno quickly turns to you and whispers
“You said we could leave if I felt too uncomfortable right?”
“Yes.” You whisper back and squeeze his hand so he knows your truly there.
“I’d like to leave now.” He replies and starts to stand but you quickly pull him down by his sleeve.
“Can you wait until I tell her?” You ask and he gives you a pleading look but chooses to instead look away from the man of his childhood nightmares.
“Haruno? Is that really you?” His stone face remains unchanging, not even bothering to smile as a welcome. “My have you grown, come give me a hug, son.” He states with open arms and Giorno shoots him the most dangerous look.
“No thank you.” He denies calmly.
And the man is about to protest but Mrs.Shiobana quickly calls for her husband to sit next to her. When he takes his seat, she grabs one of his hands and returns her snake-like eyes to stare into my soul. But I hold my ground and return the harsh look as I speak.
“As I was saying, I’m a very traditional woman Mrs.Shiobana. So I’m sure you understand why I wanted to come and meet you.”
“What are you saying girl?” she bites, clearly impatient.
“I am going to marry your son.” You said calmly, staring her straight in her glowing green eyes. Her face visibly tenses and her eyes betray a look of...completeness?
She takes a moment but eventually, she speaks up. “Well, I’m glad you visited me and told me this in person.” She looks down into her lap and wipes away an unusual tear. “It’s nice to meet the woman Haruno gave his fragile hear too.”
Neither of you responds. There was no more to be said. It was already hard enough to bring Giorno here so you didn’t expect him to speak much. You had said what you needed but before you stood up to leave, you wanted to make one thing painfully clear to her.
“You will not be welcomed at our wedding.” Her eyes widen and she opens her mouth to protest but Giorno holds up a hand and stops her from pleading.
“Save it. I wasn’t your priority then, so you will suffer for it now.” Giorno’s eyes are unwavering once he states his decision. Their cold and show no mercy, chilling even your spine. He stands and holds a hand out for you to take. You rise next to him and the both of you turn to make a beeline for the door.
But a heavy hand falls on your shoulder and you turn to see the older woman looking don in shame.“Thank you for taking care of my son.” Mrs.Shiobana says as a last-ditch effort to not be completely forgotten when you exit the doors. You don’t give her any pitty as you look at her with disgust.
“I don’t need your thanks. You won’t receive any pity from me.” You bite as you shrug her hand from your shoulder. You want to say more but Giorno gives you a knowing look and shakes his head softly.

Posted! I’ve been pretty lit procrastinating and grinding a lot of video games at the same time lately lol. I loved this request so much so if you’re looking for a semi angsty or full-on angst version of this request then feel free to hit my line love💛!
“B-Bucciarati...I’m hallucinating! There are too many lines here!” You shout at the shut door, fingers trembling and fumbling with the fifth pregnancy test. All the pink instruments laid splayed out in the sink with the same perfectly parallel lines. Your frantic eyes glanced at the lines again and again, hoping and praying that one of the lines would fade away or that Bucciarati would come in saying ‘it was all a joke I faked the tests’. But neither happened.
“Bucciarati your playing with me...right?”
“Of course not. Why would I joke around about something so important?” He shouts back at you through the bathroom door, and you feel your breakfast start to resurface. “A-Are you..?” He asks nervously, not wanting to finish the question for fear of the truth. When he hears the sounds of you retching he’s quick to open the door and stand by your side, holding your hair up for you and rubbing your back gently. He didn’t need to hear you say it; Bruno had guessed you might be pregnant after he started taking notice of your unusual snack requests and how often you excused yourself just to immediately get sick in the bathroom. He was the one that bought the five tests and shut you in the bathroom.
Once you finished up and gargled mouth wash, you slowed your rapid heart and sat back on the bathroom floor, trying to curl into a ball in the corner.
“What am I going to do Bucciarati!” You sobbed and brought your knees up to bury your face in them, letting the tears flow freely as you thought of all the bad omens surrounding you and your newly discovered child.”I-I’m too young! I can’t raise a kid right now.”
“Well, you should talk to the Father. I’m sure Giorno would be delighted-”
“Giorno! I can’t tell Giorno! He can’t have that kind of weight on his shoulders right now, h-he’s a Don!”
“That doesn’t excuse him from taking responsibility. Besides, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing.”
Slowly, you lifted your head to search his sapphire eyes for a lie. And when you found none, you felt your breathing slow and your tremors come to a stop. He’s right, maybe your nerves just got to you before your reason could. But even reason can’t sugar coat your unexpected pregnancy. A lot of work needed to be done before then.
“Okay, I’ll tell him later.” Bucciarati pondered your answer and then immediately protested.
“No. Wait till the end of the week.”
“Why?”
“Because we always like to save the good news for Fridays.” He says with a smile. “He’ll be busy all week so at least on Friday you’ll have his complete attention.” You nod and stand with the help of Bruno who had been nothing but helpful whenever you were troubled. You placed a gentle hand on your stomach and didn’t notice when a smile crawled up your face, but Bruno did. And he was sure your child would light up both of your lives like the angel you needed.
You separated with the secret kept between you two but as the week went by, your secret came closer and closer to spilling.
That night when you saw Giorno, he commented on your strange change of palet. He picked up your disgusted face at dinner and asked why you seemed so displeased with dinner despite the food being one of your favorites. You sweat a little nervous and then replied ‘Maybe my tastebuds change’ despite 7 years not going by.
On Tuesday Giorno found you writing names in a notebook. He was curious, asking why you were writing them and you nervously stuttered out that you were writing a story. He smiles and points to one name and says "Bellona is a pretty name." And you're not sure why, but suddenly you hope that you are blessed with a daughter.
On Wednesday you were approached by Mista as he teased "A little birdie told me we might have a mini GioGio on the way". You turn into a blushing mess before you grab him by the ear and pull him down so he can hear you clearly:
"If you tell Giorno I will kill you." You whisper before Giorno rounds the corner and asks what's going on. You glare at Mista and soon the two of you are claiming you were just in friendly disagreement.
On Thursday, you and Giorno enjoyed an especially beautiful brunch together. You sat in the gardens and shared a lovely conversation that had your heart beating. He seemed especially intimate, singing his love with words that you could feel, admiring your beauty and listening to you talk about your week so far. He even held your hand as you sat on one of the stone benches to study the lively garden. Your head on his shoulder and the forgiving sunlight of late-mornings kissing you both.
You spoke of the future very lightly. You didn’t want to bring work into this but you were curious as to what he wants to do now. And he smiles as tells you that all of his plans involve you.
“I think I’m ready for something more.”
“I’m sure it’s you. It’ll always be you.”
And you want to burst into tears right there. Your heart swells with happiness because now you knew he wanted this family too. You almost broke and told him straight then but in the back of your head Bucciarati reminded you:
Save the good news for Friday
And when Friday came, you woke late into the morning with your skin naturally glowing. Giorno was missing from beside you but that was normal in the mornings. He liked to beat the sun on most days.
The house was empty; not even Mista could be found roaming the halls. The silence did little to comfort you, leaving you quickly looking to the Don for company. When you found him sitting silently in his private Library with his nose in a book, you ran your hands down his bare shoulders and felt the addicting warmth his body gave up. You planted a kiss on his cheek and he responded by bringing his hand up to cup your face and guide your lips back to his.
“Buon Giorno mia vita.” He says with a kiss
“Buon Giorno amore mio. How is your morning?” You ask as you slide gingerly into the only other seat in the room meant only for you.
“Beautiful, now that you’re here.” He flirts as he sets down the heavy leather of the book and turns his full attention to you. Giorno’s ocean eyes take a moment to study you and you subconsciously shift in your seat when you feel them land on your fuller hips and recently aching breasts; you think for a moment that maybe he was noticing a little too much.
He was observant, and you were nearly 3 months in so you were bound to look like you had put on a little weight. Something like that would never get past him.
“Is there something on your mind?” He asks softly while bringing a gentle hand to envelop yours. You're sure he feels how warm your skin becomes; but now is as good as time as it’s ever going to be. The longer the wait the more time you had to overthink everything.
“Yes, actually. You know...I feel like this room is missing something.”
“Missing something?” He echoed, making sure he heard you correctly.
“Yeah. I think we need another chair here.” You said pointing to the space between the two of you. “I think we’re gonna need it soon.”
He gives you a weird look and stares at the space between you, bringing his hand to his chin in thought. No one was allowed in this room, only recently did Giorno even allow you to step foot in here. This was because he wanted a room that was meant for family only, where he could keep his most personal belongings. It was a relaxing space but it only had two chairs for the two people who were allowed past the doors.
It takes him a moment, but soon he turns to you with the most excited smile gracing his perfect features and asks: “Are we having company soon?”
You nod and smile at his stunned reaction. But he’s quick to stand bringing you with him and soon wrapping you in a tight hug. He lets his hand travel down to rest on your stomach so he can feel the life pulsating from withing you.
“Thank you for this blessing.” He whispers, warming your heart. And you think to your self that things couldn’t possibly get better in the arms of your soul mate.
But then something falls from his pajama pants pocket and skips twice before coming to a halt close by. Your attention is turned to the sound and your eyes narrow at the small box.”What’s that?” you ask.
“W-we...” He manages to stutter out, bringing his hand up to scratch at the back of his neck in embarrassment. “I guess you weren’t the only one with good news this Friday”.

Yo, I can’t stand the heat for the life of me. Anything over like 75 is TOO DAMN HOT! RIP all of Europe! I feel yall’s pain too though, I just barely managed to survive my heatwave.
Abbacchio
Abbacchio has lived and suffered the Italian heat for all his life. So when Abbachio manages to look unbothered despite his pail skin, its because he has some way to protect his skin from the harsh sun and dragging heat. He’s happy to reveal his secret to you once he catches wind of your moaning.
You claim you can feel the sun aging you? He provides you with his very expensive sun lotion with anti-aging ingredients. He gives you tips like avoid sitting near windows that shine on your skin and to get used to using face mists that help refresh and cool your skin. But most of all, he keeps your AC cool and shuts all the windows so the cool air doesn’t escape. You always come back to a nice and cool home.
When the heat gets particularly bad, you don’t complain because you know Abbacchio tried his hardest to keep the both of you comfortable. You sit and suffer silently. together.
Bruno
The heat never bothered Bruno. In fact, he loved to bask in it. He loved to sit in the sun and feel the rays touch his skin and make him aware of it’s burning presence. This heat meant it was perfect to spend time out on the water...If only his s/o enjoyed the heat as much as he did.
He doesn’t think it’s healthy for you to stay in the comfort of your overly-cooled apartment. What if you chilled yourself so much you got sick? So now he makes it his mission to get you used to the heat you try so hard to avoid.
The temperature change is rocky at first: you complained when it’s 79 degrees! But with enough time of experimenting with keeping the house a certain temperature and showing you the benefits of wearing proper summer clothes to beat the heat, you start to go outside and brave the sun more. Eventually, you build up enough resistance to spend time out fishing together.
Fugo
He never cared to complain about the temperature. If it was cold then he’d put on a sweater. If it was hot then he’d dress for the hot weather and maybe relax in the pool. But now that he was with you, he started noticing the impact the weather had on your poor soul.
You seem to smile less and your movements are slower. You don’t complain about the heat but he can tell the sun is sapping your energy. He’s at a loss for a solution but soon he settles on giving you a nice and cool treat!
You appreciate it, but maybe he gave you a little too...much? Fugo came prepared with Italian ices, ice cream, frozen yogurt, and a fruit smoothie. Your smile instantly graces your face and Fugo could tell that once you had something cool you looked relieved and revitalized. Fugo was just happy to give you back your usual energy.
Giorno
It’s our Golden Boy’s day off! He didn’t need to worry about the stress of running a gang, but something else was nagging at him: this unbearable heat.
When he finally leaves his darkroom in search of you, the hot air gets to him quickly. It’s so ridiculous too, how can anybody breathe like this? Luckily, he finds you pretty quickly with your head in the freezer. He coaxes you out of the icy paradise that served as short-term relief and offers you a better alternative.
At the mention of a day at the pool, you quickly rummage your room for a swimsuit. Giorno is in awe of your choice: a nice one-piece with a floral pattern and a heart-shaped cutout. He tries not to let it distract him as you guys have fun in the water, occasionally splashing each other and lazily floating while you share a lovely conversation.
Mista
The Roman pantheon didn’t bless Mista with melanin skin just fo him to stay in all day and complain about the harsh sun. His place is outside and under the sun, bearing all it had to offer him. Only recently did he learn that his s/o didn’t share his sentiments. She preferred a freezing house and wrapping up in sweaters and blankets. But since she doesn’t live in Antartica, he’s going to make sure she learns to embrace the sun.
You're stubborn at first. It’s hard banning you from wearing sweaters in the heat. They are too comfortable! But he smokes you out when the AC ‘somehow’ breaks and everything is seeming to progress from there.
You’re not so much a shut-in any more. Now that he’s drawn you out of your cold haven, you come to enjoy the sun. You were able to cope with the heat because the only times you were outside was when the two of you were spending time together and letting the sun soothe you.
Narancia
Narancia has one answer and one answer only when it comes to solving the problem of it being ‘too hot’: Water!
Water is a lifesaver during these trying times. The liquid seemed to solve every one of his problems, so maybe it could help you too. He helps make sure your body stays hydrated by reminding you to drink your daily glasses, He urges you to take a cool shower when you feel like your overheating, and best of all: he brings fun into the mix with plump water balloons and bright-colored super soakers!
And who knew the power of water and an amazing smiley boyfriend could make such a change to your life! No more sour faces when looking at the sweltering forecast, you have the mysterious power of water on your side!

Josuke’s light is blinding. He can light up a room, a conversation, and even your life! But one thing he can’t seem to infect with his light was his crushing fear of the basement in your house. He tells you it isn’t so much the darkness, but more the fear of the unknown (But then again what is so unknown about a closed space? (Demons, that’s what!)). So now he won’t go down to the basement to do any heavy lifting unless you’re there with him. He still has his work clothes in the basement dryer? What a shame, looks like he isn’t going into work today.
Video games aren’t the only games he enjoys. You guys have a collection of board games to fuel his competitive spirit. Josuke always throws the best game nights and he always somehow beats everyone with his questionable dice that seems to stare into your soul...either way, everybody has a good time. You guys once faced against Yukako and Koichi for a couples battle and needless to say, the pair of you established your dominance of the power couple.
Josuke has a knack for doing hair, it just comes from him naturally! Often times after he is done doing his own hair he’ll call you over and sit you down in front of the mirror. Part of your morning routine is letting Josuke style your hair for the day while you drink coffee and scroll your tumblr dash. BUT WHEN YOU HAVE KIDS boy is it a sight to see him style your daughter and son’s hair.
What a stubborn boy Josuke can be. He absolutely refuses to use Crazy Diamond to fix things in his house. No matter how much you plead with him to stop forcing screws into the wood of your new desk and just use Crazy Diamond to put it together, he won’t give in. He won’t call a plumber to help with the problems in your sink but you bet your ass he’ll be tinkering with it all day. He’s hard-headed but determined and it always makes your day when he shouts “I DID IT!” after a grueling ten hours of watching him struggle.
Josuke treats you like you are the finest of china, too delicate to hold in his rough hands. He’s gentle with you in bed, always slowing down whenever he feels himself lose an ounce of control. Now don’t think because he’s gentle he can’t rough you up a little. But only when your cheeks flush and your rosy lips part to beg for him.
He LOVES hearing you say his name. You chanted his name like a spell whenever Josuke’s slow and deep thrusts brushed that bundle of nerves and he growls in response, softly biting your shoulder and letting out an almost animalistic growl.
