Review: Hello Baby by Kim Eui - Kyung.
A book that covers a topic that rarely gets touched on, Hello Baby is a look into the lives of women who are dealing with infertility and the grief of the loss of a dream that has yet to be reached.

Reading one of my comfort books from when I was a kid.
what books are your comfort reads?
This spread in 'The Big Book Of Blooms' is gorgeous. (Author: Yuval Zommer).
“So long as you write what you wish to write, that is all that matters; and whether it matters for ages or only for hours, nobody can say.” ― Virginia Woolf, A Room of One’s Own.
Got to go book shopping!
Due to having brain surgery and then spending three weeks in hospital, including one week completely asleep (probably the best sleep I've ever had!) June was a little weird for me, not gonna lie to you my guys.
But I did read some books, you'll be shocked to know and these are my favourite books of this month and last month.
I hope you're having a wonderful summer!
Review: Teddy Bears Never Die by Cho Yeeun.
A book that constantly reflects on social issues, ranging from gentrification to poverty, Teddy Bears Never Die is a book that is both magical and profoundly realistic as we are led into a Korean city that is divided between the rich and the poor.
Been wanting to read one of these picture books for a long time, and now have a niece to read it with!
My classics choice this weekend.
Currently reading.
“He was beastly tired, but it was hard to stop. One more book, he had told himself, then I’ll stop. One more folio, just one more. One more page, then I’ll go up and rest and get a bite to eat. But there was always another page after that one, and another after that, and another book waiting underneath the pile. I’ll just take a quick peek to see what this one is about, he’d think, and before he knew he would be halfway through it.” ― George R.R. Martin, A Feast For Crows.
Today's listen.
I just need a book to kickstart my reading again!
If anyone has any advice, let me know!
(Preferably something short or a collection, even a manga to build up my pages again).
My holiday reads.
The Peace of Wild Things from Wendell Berry's collection of the same name.
From Blossomise by Simon Armitage (Faber & Faber).
Getting around to one of those personal curriculum books.
