â âŚÂ â
With a face just as unreadable Ogata stares back. Heâs fairly sure he could easily kill the woman here and now butâŚ. The nature of the City is troublesome. He might only be rid of her for a short while before sheâd be venturing out, spreading stories of a man that snapped her neckâŚ.Â
Does she know already? He certainly canât pick it up from her face. His own behaviour might turn out to be telltale for something being off but waking up after death certainly serves the same purpose.
â âŚ..you really are one hell of a woman â, Ogata answers with laugh in his tone.Â
âBut bluffing can only take you so far donât you think? â
âIt does not take much to kill a man. You probably know that better than myself.â Both were quite the amused pair in regard their respective threats. Though there was no gain in becoming a murderer, Inkarmat was willing to stain her hands for Wilkâs name. He had dared to harm the remnant of her past, a beloved man that allowed her to be more than a mere orphan.Â
However, she cannot become that selfish. She accepted her role long time ago. The past must be buried, along with Wilk. His legacy was for Asirpa to carry, not her. She only can aid her.
If this man was away from Asirpa, that was already a certain victory for a short while.Â
âTrue, I am no killer. Iâm only a fortune teller. Perhaps, we should leave our own demise to fate, hm? What do you think Ogata nispa? Shall we have a truce?â
YOUR POKĂMON TEAMÂ
inkarmat
Inkarmat is one of my favs in GK (though itâs very hard to choose)Â I think Wheel of Fortune is a very fitting card for the series as a whole! [Iâll be at sakuracon this weekend as well as ACEN/fanime!]
 DASHBOARD GAME: CHARACTER DETAIL.
moroniic:
â whatâs supposed to happen on april first thatâs so bad? â he hasnât heard of anything besides the day with eggs hidden all around, but he doesnât like the sound of âmisfortuneâ happening on that day either.
âSeems it is a day full of pranks, quite the evil celebration, hm?â That is as far as her knowledge goes, though she held no interest in it.Â
âWish to prevent any misfortune on the eventual celebration this april first? You may ask of my services if you so desire.â She can save your neck, despite not knowing of such a âholidayâ -- it mattered not, except the money that will come!
âWishing to know who is your perfect match is no reason to be ashamed. Love is not hard to find with my help.â
coluberfoxii:
He nods âThereâs nothing in the past to see, just files and military records Iâve read one too many times, all bullshit.â
He stares at her, stern and quiet for a brief moment- she looks so sure of herself, maybe just maybe she is a truthful holder of the power she asserts, only one way to find out.
âThe future, can you see that?â
âThere is to see, but you do seem uninterested in it. Your sins are a tad blinding.â And now, she can leave such part behind, given his lack of interest on looking back -- she merely mentions it to show that she can definitively see through that door.Â
âI can see it. Ask away, the gods can offer a better insight in your decisions.â
tortorem:
â Heh. More than youâll ever know sugar.â He chuckled at her. If this was an attempt to flatter him it had worked well. That fearful expression upon her lovely face, it only made her features all the more memorable. Perhaps heâd show her just how well placed her fear of him was?
â Weâre here for YOU to tell me about myself though. â
âYes, forgive my rudeness. I will focus now.âÂ
What a terrifying creature. Only the Gods knew what he was but he was far from human. In what sense? Again, she feared to tell and for that, decided to remain silent. Only this time, she will keep her lips shut down.
Chills ran down her spine, even her figure trembled as the fox skull was placed on her head. Â
âWhat is that you wish to know? Allow Siratki Kamuy to guide you.â
nor-oi:
âThe truth of my heart. How exciting!â
He shifts from side to side. âIâm sorry to say that youâre wrong, though. Iâm not hiding anything. Iâm just a happy dark mage! I donât have anything to hide⌠Iâm quite the open book.â
âAm I? My apologies, I only speak what I see.â Closed eyelids open wide, revealing a piercing gaze that may or may not see far more than what it should.Â
âMhm, both your body and soul carry quite the scars... some may vanish but others stay. This so-called happiness was nurtured by suffering.â
daemonize:
Ava could not help but watch with rapt attention, nor could she prevent a soft noise of wonder escape her lips at the womanâs presentation. The animal skull did not disturb her, she had seen much more⌠graphic things in her past. Instead, it only added to Avaâs curiosity.
âDivinationâŚâ
â⌠So, you can see into the future?â
Well, Ava had trusted far more suspicious individuals before; what was the harm here?
âYes, exactly what you say.â Wether others believed in her powers or not, it was up to them. Inkarmat was often right in her predictions and sometimes, feared them. Knowing what the future will depart is not exactly a blessing.Â
âLovely girl, you have suffered quite a bit. You continue to fight and be tormented by terrible things... perhaps you wish to see if the future will be kinder?â
@coluberfoxii | continued from here [x]
âI believe my services could be of use to a nispa of your caliber.â It is always the soldiers, isnât it? Rugged men of war always wounded up in her path. âPast or future, which one is of your interests? I suppose you care not for the past, hm? I can tell you everything you want to know.â

calacavera:
âHey, that wasnât a prediction, that was just a medical suggestion.âÂ
âHow sweet to consider me a medic. No, I am not skilled in such area. I speak only what I know.â
anglerfishnabe:
â Speaking like youâre much betterâŚ. Who was the one that fed Tsurumi all that information? â
Granted itâs a surprise to see her walking around as if nothing had happened. Is it because of the City? Or had she simply enough time to recuperate alreadyâŚ. A tenacious woman, he gives her that. Ogata supposes it doesnât really matter.Â
â Kill me? And just how are you going to do that? â Ogata gives a laugh.Â
â The matagi isnât here to guard you now. â
âDonât compare me to the likes of you.â Her soft smile remains, accentuated by the hand placed over her cheek. It was as if this conversation was as carefree as her expression. âYou are working for Kiroranke right now, though Iâm not sure if you will come to betray him. But I canât overlook him nor the man that killed Wilk. In due time you will pay.âÂ
One can assume she was bluffing but the calm in her voice doesnât reveal enough. Fate was not on anyoneâs side, she merely could tell what was bound to happen and even then --
âYou care to test what I can do on my own, Ogata nispa?â
