maybe it was the seniority the older rapper held or bailey’s long time admiration for the other, the younger still flinched at the touch — not because he felt uncomfortable, but rather, he still was not used to the close bond they’ve created over the years, smiling to shrug it away. “ah, the way you’ve asked it.. sounded like you don’t want me here..” the younger whined, a frown replacing his once grinning lips. “and when have i ever missed your show, hyung? i was always present y’know? just.. there are just times where i have to leave early because of my own personal schedules, so i don’t get to greet you.” and he just couldn’t simply let it go, bailey had to be a child and defend himself, like he was protecting his title of being captain’s number one fan.
doojae’s offer for a drink immediately lighted up his features, eyes even smiling at the idea of having liquor after its long absence in his system. “mm! i want a cola captain morgan.” he stated, evidently knowing his alcohols well. “it’s been a long time since my last drink. i think i deserve to get drunk tonight.” turning to the older with his most charming smile, his surefire way of convincing other people into his wants and demands, the idol just continued to stare at him until doojae agrees, despite that his well groomed hair was ruffled to a mess, something he usually doesn’t appreciate when it’s someone else who did.
Doojae often felt attachment towards his hoobaes and dongsaengs. He felt attachment to pretty much anyone he knew. Bailey was someone entirely different to Doojae and he wasn’t sure what it was but being with the younger male made Doojae feel comfortable. He wasn’t as awkward as he was with everyone else. Over the years the two had developed a strong bond and a strong friendship. Bailey was someone special to Doojae (in what way though, he wasn’t yet sure). Doojae smiled and shook his head. ❝ Of course I want you here. I didn’t mean it like that, ❞ he chuckled slightly and bit his lip in thought. He placed a finger over the other’s pout. ❝ Don’t pout. It makes you look better than me, ❞ he teased playfully and winked. He removed his finger after what was probably longer than normal. ❝ Ahhh, no wonder why I perform so well. You’re always watching me. ❞
It took a second for the rapper to try and work out what the hell the younger was talking about. He didn’t know the names of the drinks, just the look or the taste. He nodded and stood as he set about preparing the drink. ❝ Be careful, ne? Don’t drink too much. You never know who is watching. ❞ Doojae’s brotherly side began showing and he hadn’t realised. It was natural for the soloist to worry about others. He looked up to smile at his guest as he finished making the drink. He brought it over and held it out to Bailey. ❝ I’m not sure what you said is exactly but I’m hoping this is close too it. ❞ Doojae laughed nervously and took a seat next to Bailey (perhaps a little too close).
