jaejin stunned him, blinded him, not in any literal sense but with how him himself is a being that seems to be made of so much information, skills, codes of acting that joonyoung has yet to grasp even under the guidance of his mentors. joonyoung always admired the younger actor’s movie and tv show appearances, had been familiar with the boy’s roles before he was even signed to millionaire, so he was absolutely ecstatic when told they’d be paired up for mcing the concert.
despite the slight age gap and being slightly older, the model found the boy’s acting skills far more superior than his own, and the two always managed to get along.
they were backstage, looking over scripts, stylists putting back in place any hair that stuck out and adjusting their outfits, idols running on stage to perform the next song, it was hectic. but joonyoung liked it. adrenaline was in the air and there was nothing joonyoung loved more. it makes him beam, black flakes reflecting themselves off chestnut irises as excitement dances within, makes him feel like a machine running off air but wouldn’t be running out anytime soon.
after the stylists had left, and they were alone to practice whatever act they had left, joonyoung looked up from the script and to the other male. “do you still get nervous about these types of things?” curiosity at its finest.
