BTS Becomes The 12th Artist Ever To Sell Out Wembley Stadium

Yesterday, it was revealed that the initial batch of tour dates for BTS’s upcoming stadium tour, “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself,” completely sold out soon after tickets became available on March 1 local time. In an announcement today, it was revealed that BTS sold out the enormous Wembley Stadium in London — which serves a capacity of 90,000 — in just 90 minutes. BTS is now the 12th artist to sell out the stadium, joining the ranks of major artists and bands like Queen, Michael Jackson, Muse, Madonna, Beyonce, One Direction, Eminem, Spice Girls, Oasis, Take That, and Ed Sheeran. They are the first Korean artists to achieve this feat. BTS will coming around to Wembley Stadium on June 1. Their “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” tour begins in Los Angeles on May 5, and, in addition to the U.S., the group will go on to hit Europe and Japan for a total of 10 performances in eight cities. Congratulations to BTS!
