This may seem like a weird/stupid question but it's something I've always wondered. So the Phantom wears the ring on his pinky and then puts it on Christine's ring finger. But what happens if their fingers are different sizes? How does this work? Or is it one of those rings that has an elastic? I'm sorry for such an odd question!

I think that for the most a ring sitting on the Phantom’s pinky will fit suitably on Christine’s ring finger. And in instances where it doesn’t, I assume it’s because it’s a bit too big, and the actress just have to be careful with it?

i know this post is 9 years old - for broadway at least, it’s identical rings in different sizes! when christine changes into the wedding dress she’s given the ring in her size and the dresser passes the phantom’s back to his dresser. then for the return the ring is given back by the dresser to christine to give back to the phantom!
