A movie for every year I’ve been alive→ Imagine Me And You (2005)
…and just sipped - me.
That moment when your uncle goes off on your grandma and all the men in the house get up to deal with him.
I loved how they paid homage to Peter Parker in nwh. It was so bittersweet. Tom Holland really brought out Peter’s emotions in this movie. He has an ability to make you cry and feel his emotions during every emotional scene he does. He’s one of the best actors of our generation. 🥺
NWH SPOILER!!! 🚨🚨🚨
No BC Tom Holland is forever putting his ALL into these scenes and he makes me cry for months after!!! I think this was sadder than Tony’s death. The way I felt during this scene was indescribable, my heart was in my stomach, my eyes stung cause tears just kept coming, I felt physically ILL, I think I stoped breathing during the whole scene!! It was truly something!! He did AMAZING(no pun intended lol) just like he does every film. I truly see him getting an Oscar one day!! I was fr sooo speechless after his performance it’s not an exaggeration. I just got the energy to post this after 3 days after seeing it(and 3 times watching it) cause it drained my energy crying so much.
AG Peter’s gonna invent interdimensional travel and TM Peter’s just gonna come home one day to find AG wrapped in a blanket on his couch as MJ makes him mac and cheese
I’ve been rewatching Daredevil and I just don’t understand why Karen and Foggy be getting so mad at Matt. Like if they were truly his friends I think they’d fully understand why he so desperately needs to be Daredevil. I mean I’m not sure why they can’t understand that Matt hears so much suffering everywhere all the freaking time! Like they’ve got to have some sympathy for that fact. And on top of that they get mad when they realize Matt let them believe he was dead. Although Foggy did defend him talking about how he feels apart of Matt did die. And Foggy is right. Part of Matt did die there. Electra did. Matt’s first true love died again, and there was nothing he could do about it. And now Matt isn’t all there. He’s questioning his faith. He’s depressed because he survived and Electra didn’t, and now his abilities aren’t there, and he doesn’t know his purpose anymore. Then he gets his abilities back and the first thins he hears is that Wilson Fisk is out of prison. This man responsible for a lot of Hell’s Kitchen’s tragedies is now out and in this luxury hotel. That angers Matt, and now he’s hallucinating Fisk and is under the impression that he had to go against his past beliefs and kill this man, which would only make him as bad as every bad guy he puts away. Then he visitsFoggy talking nothing but nonsense about how he shouldn’t have let himself be happy essentially. Foggy ask “Do you hear yourself?” The answer is “No Foggy, he doesn’t hear himself he hears Fisk in his head telling him that he’s failed everyone he’s ever loved and that it’s his fault and how he’s failed to stop the suffering of Hell’s Kitchen. He hears Fisk telling him only what his subconscious believes, so no he’s not hearing himself Foggy, and he’s not all there atm either.” Surely Karen and Foggy have to see this, and if they don’t, not only does it make them as blind as Matt, but someone should tell them.
This is MY opinion, an unpopular opinion if you must, but I actually really LOVE Danny Rands character, and his story. This is someone who had to witness both his parents die on an airplane when he was ten, and was then trained by monks to become a warrior. Where he might’ve spent a lot of nights at first wondering why he survived the plane crash but not his parents, the monks ultimately eventually trained him to not deal with these emotions, and to push them all down and out of mind. So where some might find him annoying and childish at times, I find that it’s actually realistic the way he deals with some stressful situations. He hasn’t lived in the real world since he was ten and since then he’s trained to be a weapon and to have no emotions, so when he comes back he doesn’t know how to deal with these stressful situations in a calm and mature manner. All he’s learned since he was ten is that The Hand is bad and the Iron Fist was made to destroy them all, so he handles these situations by just rambling on and on about how he must destroy these people, and goes right in without a real plan because he was taught that with his power he can destroy these people, but they didn’t fully tell him how. I also really like Danny and his story because once he’s back he’s slowly feeling all these emotions he was told to push away, so the first time he’s on a plane again and experiences the same things he did befor witnessing his parents death he has a panic attack, and when he finds out his parents were murdered all this hurt that’s been building up in him over a very long period of time is turning into this boiling anger that he doesn’t know how to control, then on top of all this Harold, someone who he thought of as a father figure, betrays him and turns him into the DEA after all he’s done for that man, then, for the cherry on top of that ice cream, he finds out that Harold is the one who killed his parents. And the way he freaks out after all this is honestly a really realistic approach to Danny’s character. I absolutely love how he kept freaking out after all this. He kept lashing out, and he obviously didn’t know how to handle it, this boiling anger in him just turned into much vengance, and because he didn’t know how to handle his pain Danny obviously had Harold to blame for it all and thought that if he killed Harold his pain would all go away which would make him a better Iron Fist. In the end it’s nice to see that Danny realized that Killing was not the answer.
Then I just have to say it is so sad that Danny went back to Kun Lun only to find that the hand had showed up and the Monks who raised him, and who he was destined to protect were gone. I mean this was basically his family the majority of his life, so losing them has got to hurt.
this man is a trained killer who has one brain cell, daddy issues, and parks cars for a living. please respect him as he is the only person that matters to me
Like what even was that ending?!?! I can’t believe I’ve wasted 5 years of my life for that! Honestly this ending isn’t canon to me…
where can I pay to get Owen-Wilson-therapy like Loki did?
