I had no business catching feelings

My heartbeats are empty

Recently people have said they want to fix things

But there’s nothing to fix especially when you decide to fuck up

Don't' stop to think about the little fish that got away. Just stop and think about casting the next line in the ocean.

It is part of the human experience to feel pain. Do not be afraid, open yourself to it.

Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination.

What was the lesson learned?

What was learning experience in this? What was I supposed to learn? What was the take away? More confused and lost, the more I think about it.

Afterall, heartbreaks and breakups are the hardest kind of work. So shouldn’t there be some kind of credit for enduring them? And if not, how do you retain a sense of value when you have nothing concrete to show for it. Because at the end, of yet another failed relationship, when all you have are war wounds and self doubt, you have to wonder — what’s it all worth?
