"Damn Girl" - Nastynasty
She's - killing - me - me
"Shake It" - Tom Waits
I often wish I had a smoking habit, only because I'd be that much closer to sounding like Tom.
"Keep Your Secrets In Midnight City" - Kill Paris
The perfect amount of sample twining throughout this track.
"Go Bang" - SBTRKT Puts your heart in your mouth, doesn't it?
"The Time Has Come" - Pretty Lights The time has come for your entire being to melt and mix with these sound waves.
"Sleepyhead (Passion Pit)" - Borgore
I'm not sure why I like this remix so much. Borgore hasn't evolved with music; his gritty, garage-EDM sound isn't going new places. But this track will always make me dance and smile like a dope.
"Who Loves Me" - Pretty Lights Unf. Perfect combo of getting riled up and just groovin' down. Goddamn, Pretty Lights...
"Best Friend" - The Drums
Who knew New Wave would have such a prominent place in my heart?
"I Get Wet" - Andrew WK
Andrew WK is a joke. He is ridiculous. He makes absolutely no sense to me. For these reasons, I can take his music with a big ol' grain of salt and have a grand old time. Plus, this song also makes me want to get really happy and punch things at the same time.
"Little Lover" - AC/DC
In my personal opinion, AC/DC shouldn't have continued under the same name after Bon passed. All their Blues influences died with him, and the repetitive, pseudo-metal junk they've been peddling since is nothing is comparison to their early days.
"Tippi Toes" - The Meters
I love how sneak-uppy and, well, tip-toey this sounds. Makes me think of the Pink Panther... if the Pink Panther was born in New Orleans and knew how to slap a mean bass.
Azealia Banks - Hood Bitch
OH FUCK.
"Hood Bitch" - Azealia Banks This woman right here knows how to spit rhymes like whoa. I'm not even kidding; listen already.
"Jasmine" - Jai Paul Jai keeps on being my new favorite person ever. Please, kind sir: continue putting out sweet, drippy beats, for my ears are thirsty.
"Money" - The Drums They're like a punky Interpol that I actually like! (That's a lie; I like some Interpol, but this sound is way more accessible and evolved).
"Diamonds On The Face Of Evil" - Ugly Casanova The lurching stomp of a beat that carries this song is my favorite part about it. Though, I've always been a fan of screamed, un-pretty vocals.
"Bomb The Blocks" - Bassnectar I think I will always like Bassnectar. I can't imagine him producing anything I'm not into. Spacey, hardcore badass goodness.
"Look At Me Now Feat. Busta Rhymes & Lil Wayne, Prod. Afrojack & Diplo)" - Chris Brown Someone as shitty as Chris Brown isn't allowed to be a talented artist or good dancer. Can't win em all, I guess.
