So, I was watching “The Library” in honor of tonight’s episode… and noticed two allusions! The phoenix spirit that saves Korra is a statue in the scene where Aang looks at the sketch of the lion turtles.

The spirit portals and Vaatu’s prison, The Tree of Time, also very briefly appear as Aang flips the notepad to the lion turtle sketch!

Just thought I’d share this neat info I found!

"In ways. You haven't been in total isolation, Jack. There's only a few things one can stand bear." Yue tilted her head at him. "It was hard. Wasn't it, in the beginning?"

Jade hisses as the figure draws closer to her sanctum, curiosity or no her very presence sent prickles along the girls neck. 

Bright, she has the aura of the moon. 

Yet, a princess must always entertain her guests… no matter how… off putting they may be for her. She steps through the shadows, approaching the figure with as much confidence as she could manage. “Greetings… stranger.”

The spirit paused in her steps at the hiss, a frown on her face. This place..it was too dark. Filled with shadows with every step you take, new ones appeared. It wasn’t that she was afraid, she was simply cautious, despite the glow she cast.

Blue eyes adjusted to the figure, seeking the features. Stranger was right. “Greetings,” she returned with a slight bow of her head. “How are you?” Yue inquired, mostly out of habit but out of politeness.

She seemed confused for a moment, no-one had really asked her something so simple before. It was… different, but it, for some reason, made her feel a little more comfortable in this spirit’s presence. 

She nods in return. “I am fine… you’ve wandered into a dark territory, haven’t you?”

Her eyebrows furrowed momentarily, wondering if she had said, asked the wrong thing before relief took over and a smile tugged at her lips. "I'm glad to hear that."

Her question made her think, rethink about her surroundings; she realized she had, but didn't quite fully grasp how dark the territory actually was. Or the impact of her being there. Luckily she wouldn't have to deal with Pitch.

"Yes. The light shines the brightest in the dark," she remarked.

Pitch smirked at the stranger who had entered his lair, “And what do I owe the honor of your visit?” he asked as he played with the dark nightmare sand that danced between his finger tips.
