I've been following the ceo shooting case mostly because it's WILD to me that they had a full blown manhunt because some rich dood got gunned down even though people get gunned down in NY every single day. they don't put in even a fraction of that effort for others. And people are letting that shit slide, like, it's ok for them to go all out for some rich dood, but you know damn well they wouldn't do the same for you and your loved ones...

and I honestly believe the person they have in custody didn't do it.

Its also kinda fucked up the way people are writing fan fics and posting baby photos and making money off of his image by putting his whole face on T-shirts...

it just seems so icky how one side has completely removed *alleged* and *assumed innocent until proven guilty* and has paraded him around as enemy number 1... and it's also icky how another side is living this weird parasocial relationship with a guy that was, until a little over a month ago, just some guy.

like, this world is really, truly fucked.

when I was backpacking through Europe, I met this guy in Greece. nothing spectacular (ie sexual... he was cute tho 😂) happened, but it was a night that constantly plays in my mind.

it was always a toss up with how I get treated in specific places. I always hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Greece was strange in that I met some wonderful people in one place, which gets clouded by the fact that I'm pretty sure I met the antichrist in that same spot... and was still in shock by the experience when I went to Athens...

anyway, we met and hung out. shared a drink and a smoke, some songs, and wandered around the city before he dropped me off at my hostel and made me promise to keep in touch and we did... for years when I had FB, but along came my stalker and everything went by the wayside. i plan to one day reactivate it so that I can grab info from my friends lists before I close it up again forever, but for some reason...

this guy's name constantly plays in my head. so I looked him up. and found him. and we chat. and I hope he's doing well. it seems like maybe he is and that makes me happy. he had such a good heart and I will always root for that in people.

anyway... gobble gobble bitches. gonna eat turkey, drink wine, give thanks to my family by blood and choice, the friends I've met along the way, and talk shit about colonizers. ✌🏾

I live smack dab in trump country and late last night fireworks went off and I knew. this morning I woke up to flags and signs and I just...

I went in for a dr. appointment. an X-ray for my leg which I feel is unnecessary. I told my dr. that. I have leg cramps. they said 'well start with that.' meanwhile, I also asked for anxiety medication and they rolled their eyes and said I needed another appointment for that and it will be a few weeks away but until then, they would prescribe me something small.

fine... small is better than nothing and I'm struggling.

I called today and no one put in a prescription.

my body feels drained and tired a lot and it's hard for me to stay standing and not feel weak. I just drank a small glass of wine to calm my nerves and now I want to throw up and pass out.

I checked my passport and I still have 3 years left on it and 3 years left on my visa. I don't know if I can do any of it, physically or mental anymore.

I miss my grandma and I'm angry that my abuser is now trying to get over on my mom. I hate that he's the topic of conversation daily because of his shyster antics. I hate that my mom is grieving and trying to make things fair and he is trying to vacuum up every penny he can.

I still think of the shit he said at her funeral. how he didn't even talk about her as a person. as his mother. as the only one who will house him, his gf, and their 5 kids.

I hate him. my grandma deserved better. my mom deserves better.

I deserved better. his victims deserved better.

I'm gonna take a nap now, even though I will probably go to bed in 2 hours, but if I don't do that, I think I'll just cry.
