hello, and welcome to my blog! my name is storm ( they / them ), my timezone is est, and i’m a 24 year old writer who loves fiction. this is a roleplay blog centered around characters and worlds from several video games, including but not limited to: dragon age, mass effect,  assassins creed, skyrim, and persona 5. a few points to note before following my blog:

- i have both canon and original characters available to write with -- i just ask that, before reacting to starter calls / sending in memes / etc, you make sure that we are mutuals. i will only interact with people i follow and who i know follow me back. this is not only for comfort, but for crowd control on my dash as well. 

- i won’t write with anyone who is under the age of 18. again, this is for my own comfort.

- i work two jobs, so my replies will be slow. they are coming, though! if i’m going to drop a thread, i’ll let you know beforehand, and i hope you will do the same for me.

- if you’re nervous about messaging people like i am, know that the best way to start interactions with me is to send in a meme! i almost always leave memes off in a way that will allow them to be turned into a thread; please just turn it into a new post and tag me if you wish to continue it.

vent ahead

i’ve been applying to several jobs for the last week and a half and i’ve either heard nothing back or i’ve gotten rejection emails only. it’s super disheartening and discouraging but i desperately need a full time job if i want to move out / start a life for myself. i can’t do my part time jobs forever, even if it’s technically getting me ~40 hours a week.

Pal.” Joker raised his eyebrows at the turian, clapping his hands together in front of him and staring him in the eye as much as he could. “When I said it would be cool to find you again, I didn’t mean finding you with your face blown up. Just, y’know, keep that in mind for the future.” Chakwas really did work wonders -- Garrus’ face still looked like it hurt like shit, but at least it was held together. At least Garrus was alive. “Don’t give me a heart attack like that, asshole. I’m already fragile enough as it is.”

Shepard had a fancy new apartment, courtesy of Admiral Anderson, and all of their friends were in one room. Who in their right mind wouldn’t try to have the time of their lives? “Did you really do almost two hundred pull-ups just because Vega said you couldn’t? Actually, the fact that he thought you couldn’t beat him is hilarious in itself, but seriously!”

“Look, don’t be surprised if Chakwas mother hens you,” Joker said, twisting his ( extremely comfortable ) pilot’s seat back and forth while speaking with his commander. He hadn’t expected to see John Shepard ever again once the original Normandy exploded in front of his eyes, but here he was: back and better than ever from what he could tell. The reasons how Shepard was back were beyond what Joker cared about; all he cared about was seeing his friend alive once more. It was a miracle he’d never thought would come true. “You were dead, after all, and have all that Cerberus tech in you. Just let her do her thing for peace of mind and you’ll be out of the medbay in a jiffy.”

Even so, she felt unusually fond of the place she now called home and was willing to defend it from her sibling’s hypothetical solution. “Tempting as it sometimes is, this is our home now. We just... have to make do and leave when possible.”

If we find one in Orzammar... it’s yours. Promise.”

“I’m telling you, doc, I’m fine. You’re such a mother hen sometimes.” Joker shook his head but let Chakwas continue her examination. As much as he complained, it was still nice to see someone fuss over him from time to time. “I’ve totally healed since the Normandy crash just like you and the rest of the crew after getting abducted. They weren’t kidding about seatbelts saving lives, huh?”

okay so… save for maybe a few tweaks over the next few days, i think my muse and rules page is now finished. you can read my new one here.

i will note that i kept my mains from before, but if anyone wants to retract that since i’ve been away, know that i won’t be offended and will take you off my list. 

i’ll take a look at my blog theme and maybe redo that, but beyond that i’m ready for interactions again! either shoot me a message if we’ve written before or give this a like if you want a thread with my new muse list – i’ll be deleting all my old drafts tomorrow unless someone asks otherwise. thank you everyone for your patience!
