Overlord x Damus thoughts

Gladiator!Overlord in pre-war au having a post match meet-up with spectator!Damus, who has not yet faced the worse sides of Cybertronian society in his pre-empurata days, and is still a naive, wide eyed, admiring mech enthralled with the popular gladiator's duelling. It's Damus' first time in the arena, and sure he's rattled from the state-sanctioned celebration of gory violence, but he can't help feeling giddy with excitement at being specifically called by one of the most popular gladiators in the current scene for a backroom meetup. Yes, Damus had heard such things happen, and gladiators often meetup with lucky, well connected, shanix heavy patrons, but as a first timer in the arena? Damus had never expected it to be him!

Enter Overlord, his plating shiny with condensation and still slick with the splattered energon from his victim(s) in the arena, grinning widely at chosen his post match excitement for the night.

This one still looks wet behind the ears, a polished mech who would belong better in upper caste establishments than the dingy waiting room of a gladiator. Overlord had never seen him around the arena before, and the star-stuck look on the mech's face has his engines revving.

It'll be fun to tear his seal, and maybe his plating too, and break him into the ways of the arena.

Some prefer a more well-experianced one, or sujee who can bring them benefits in and out of the arena. Overlord has DD done the latter, too-such is the rule of survival in arena, but he prefers breaking a mech to his will more, to mold them to fit perfectly on his spike and leave them with something they can't ever wipe from their memory banks, for better or worse.

Overlord doesn't clearly catch the mech's name when he stutters an introduction. Not that it'll be necessary - he's never going to see him again after tonight, right?
