I’m not really one for Christmas, too many awkward memories, but I do enjoy the niche, random, odd-ball and unfiltered parts of the Yuletide season, especially sitting down and watching a variety of what I definitely label as "Christmas" movies: Die Hard, Die Hard 2, Paddington (sort of), The Nightmare Before Christmas, a new and recent favourit The Holdovers, and of course, The Gremlins.
Two years ago I did a Krampus print, last year I did a seasonal greeting card featuring a wreath, now back to my niche ideals and picked this little green devil for my winter season print. I hope to have some digital copies ready start of Christmas, and maybe some risograph editions in the new year.
VOID & GAMBLE: a piece that became part of the development stage in creating work for MM25 (Mothership Month 2025), and became a highlight of my post-graduation portfolio and risograph print on my online store, available here:
- Risograph print - Printed onto 170gsm "Ardent White" Paper - Printed using risograph ink colours Bright Red and Black - Packaged
