Brittany had spent her morning trying to focus on cleaning her apartment, but completely failing in the process. Her home was far from messy, because she and Jesse both liked to keep things in the places that they belonged, but she didn't think it would ever be clean enough for her to be okay with Santana seeing it.

It was nicely decorated, and Brittany was proud of that. She had photos of all of her friends on the walls, arranged into a messy heart with each photo overlapping another. It had pictures from her dance career, her childhood and Jesse's, and more recent pictures of the two of them together that she thought almost looked romantic. Those had been put out for the sole reason of angering Santana and the dancer smiled slightly when she looked at them, imagining Santana's reaction.

She wanted Santana angry because she was angry. She wanted to make her ex feel the same bubbling anger that she had been feeling since she had been introduced to Shannon. It was consuming her and she felt like she was unable to really be the happy go lucky person that she had always prided herself on being. With a sigh, she fixed her curled hair and made sure her makeup looked alright, then sat at her kitchen table. She petted Lord Tubbington, who had somehow managed to get himself up and onto the table, and waited for Santana to come knocking on her door.
