*#1 of movie reviews for self to read because letterboxd doesn't have a free private notes feature - may or may not add some retroactively*
Not a ton to say about this one, thought it was alright but could see self bumping up the score if still thinking about it in a few weeks. Elliott Gould is great and I liked the dialogue, really sold the neo noir vibe. The middle section felt a bit meandering and by the end I wasn't really sure why things had worked out the way they did - Big Lebowski comparison is apt but at least that's a comedy. Also fun seeing clear inspiration for Under the Silver Lake. Ending was great, kinda reminded me of The Passenger.
6.5/10
