Eddie Redmayne for Men’s Health Ph: Nino Munoz
🙏🙏🙏
Actor Eddie Redmayne, who played the role of Professor Stephen Hawking in the 2014 film The Theory of Everything, attended the University Church of St Mary the Great in Cambridge for Professor Hawking's funeral.
Eddie Redmayne will give a reading at Prof Hawking’s funeral, with Ecclesiastes 3.1-11 as the chosen text:
“1 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
2 a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
3 a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time for war, and a time for peace.
The God-Given Task
9 What gain has the worker from his toil? 10 I have seen the business that God has given to the children of man to be busy with. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot bfind out what God has done from the beginning to the end.
Eddie is reading from Ecclesiastes, at the Cambridge service for Stephen Hawking today, which Felicity Jones is also among the 500 attending. Recently it was revealed that Professor Hawking’s ashes are to be interred near Sir Isaac Newton’s and Charles Darwin’s at Westminster Abbey.
Prepare to giggle with glee like a toddler. Eddie’s back reading another CBeebies Bedtime Story, Big Little Hippo, at about 6:50 p.m. U.K. time tonight, Saturday March 31.
FRECKS!!!

“Get your #WandsReady. #FantasticBeasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald arrives in theaters November 16.”
You have to love how one minute Eddie can be all suave & sophisticated, & totally rocking a £3000 suit & then….
…the next minute you see what is probably the more real version of this beautiful freckled man - the adorkable goofball who is all big grins & laughter.
Which one do you find sexier?
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald
There’s a rumour that Newt Scamander is headed to Paris. I know he’s working under your orders. What do you have to say for yourself, Dumbledore?
International Women’s Day 2018
My annual edit. My everyday hope — that gender equality won’t be just a “women’s cause” but an acknowledged, embraced, practiced human right. #timesup #timeisnow #IWD2018
aarontveit: Annnnd here is the picture in question, since I was caught taking it amidst this awesome rehearsal video.
Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet.Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. However difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at. It matters that you don’t just give up.

What a dork.
still love him though

Hey, Jude: What Eddie Redmayne asked Jude Law to demand before he signed to play Albus Dumbledore
It’s no secret that Eddie Redmayne and wife Hannah Bagshawe enjoy their time in Paris. They spent a “babymoon” there in 2016, just weeks before daughter Iris arrived. We learned this week, though, just how much they long to spend time there — or anywhere but London.
During an interview with four proprietors of his fan accounts (including this one), Eddie revealed how six years of making films close to home in London wasn’t his (or Hannah’s) idea and how that led him to make an interesting request of Jude Law. Another item of interest: Eddie says he’d happily go off to remote locales for the right project — and bring Hannah and the little ones along.
BespokeRedmayne: It sounded like the logistics of Early Man and the two Fantastic Beasts production schedules were both somewhat conducive to family life. Are you committed for now to staying close to home to do your work, or would the right project get you back to a long location shoot?
Eddie: Absolutely, and the hilarious thing, again, that may look like that’s something that was sort of chosen, but early on in my relationship with Hannah, I said, look, my life is, our life is going to involve a lot of traveling. You know, I was in Budapest for two years, I was in North Carolina, Louisiana, and now New York — it’s going to be a nomadic life. And Hannah, she loves that and is super up for that. Ever since then, every single film — like Les Mis, she was, “Are we going to Paris?” And I was, no. And Fantastic Beasts was set in New York, and she was, “Please, tell me…” and no, she can go to Watford (the Warner Bros. Studio location outside London). For the second Fantastic Beasts, when Jude (Law) got the part (of Albus Dumbledore), I emailed Jude saying, “Please, if you haven’t signed your contract, will you demand that they shoot at least some of it in Paris?” And we shot it all in Watford. And so the answer is: We’re really up for traveling, it’s that no one else is. BR: It sounds like you would take your family with you, then. Eddie: Yeah, I think so. That would be the plan, particularly when Iris is little and when the little one arrives. Yup.

EDDIE & FELICITY, TOGETHER AGAIN
When Eddie Redmayne granted an interview this week to four fan-bloggers, I couldn’t resist the chance to ask him about filming The Aeronauts with Felicity Jones. Here are the very first comments he’s made about the film and re-uniting with Felicity. (Can you tell he’s excited about it?)
BespokeRedmayne: You have now done three films in a row that have either involved imaginary creatures and green screens or, in the case of Early Man, voice acting. We have heard that you are shooting The Aeronauts with Felicity Jones soon. Is it going to be an adjustment to go back to more of a conventionally-told, two-person story?
Eddie: I am so excited for it. I just found it the most beautiful script. It’s got this sort of epic scale to it, and yet it’s also a deeply intimate two-hander. And I’m so excited to work with Felicity again. I’m looking forward to where you can really mine every element. That being said, a lot of the film is in an air balloon — it’s two people in a balloon — so I think there’s going to be effects and all that sort of stuff. We’ll see how we go about shooting it. But I’m incredibly excited about what the script is. It’s by a brilliant man called Jack Thorne and directed by Tom Harper, who I think has such vision. I really hope it ends up being a special piece. And I think I’ve spoken to you guys about it before, but the thing you react to in a script is how it makes you feel, and when I read this script, it just felt unlike anything I’d ever seen.
There’s also been great news this week about The Aeronauts being sold at the European Film Market in Berlin for distribution around the globe. The film will reportedly start filming in the summer.
