Cannot begin to explain what an impact this years Key Club District Convention has put on me. I am thrilled to take back everything I have learned, the information I was granted, and the fun experiences back to my district! Also, I am ecstatic to fill one of my good friends’ shoes, Sinclair, and take head of Lieutenant Governor of the Southwind Division, and also reach beyond what has been previously achieved. Being apart of Key Club has been a blessing and can’t wait for years to come! First Day at DCON

The 6 hour road trip to Sacramento was actually pretty fun. But the thing is when I actually got to the convention center, I was actually kinda underwhelmed maybe because I’ve been wanting to go to DCON for the past two years and expected more excitement like at Fall Rally or maybe because I kinda feel out of place. I actually spotted some people that I know and talked to them and some from tumblr actually and I have yet to talk to. I really wanna take pictures with everyone but idk why I’m really shy about it… Maybe tomorrow/ today :)

On that note, the general session was what I was really expecting out of DCON because everyone was just so excited and that was just awesome to see. The keynote speaker was ridiculously funny and everything he said was really inspirational and kinda reminded me of why I love Key Club. I can’t wait for the rest of DCON especially because we get to dress all business-y but hopefully I don’t look too bad. I really hope DCON is everything that I hoped for it.

We are being asked to do more events these days. This month we’re running an event at the Clearwater Library for All Children’s Hospital and another event at Rent King for the Boys and Girls Club. Therefore, we are in need of more old-school systems and games that might be laying around. Please message me if you might be able to help.
