Ready for a fight.
"You can do it, Lara. After all, you’re a Croft"

"I don’t think I’m that kind of Croft"
A Survivor Is Born
In our darkest moments, when life flashes before us, we find something. Something that keeps us going. Something that pushes us. When all seemed lost, I found a truth. And I knew what I must become.
Hold your ground, we'll hit the sky.

through the desert;
Daenerys could scarcely believe the footfalls of thousands of men behind her, all ready and willing to serve; once slaves, now freed, they gave their services without command, but out of desire to do so. She hadn’t expected it, though the khaleesi had hoped to not be disappointed; all of them could have walked away, and none would have been harmed, as promised. She was a woman of her word, after all.
It was her dragons that prompted her to stray; her children had been growing more restless by the hour. Was it from all of the earlier excitement? The energy they possessed seemed boundless, and within the depths of her heart, she was worried for the future.
How was she supposed to merely keep up with them, let alone manage their natural behavior. Taming them wasn’t an option; dragons could not be tamed, but nor could she have her beloved trio ravaging cities for pleasure. Monsters, a voice in her head whispered, causing the muscle within her jaw to tighten, before said voice was promptly shut out. Now was definitely not to time to dwell on such dark thoughts, not with a horizon that held such promise and hope for what she wished to accomplish.
Astride her horse, she followed the trio of dragons that flew above, weaving through the air with grace only they knew how; it was all instinctual, and she never failed to be in awe of the natural beauty the possessed. Dangerous, yes, but in these moments, she was oblivious to the fire in their veins, how easily they could destroy — particularly since their intended use for her were to be tools to build, not to simply demolish. The power of the dragon would be harnessed to rule and unite the Seven Kingdoms, as it once was.
With a screech from Drogon, there was no mistaking it: something, or someone was ahead, and the dragon siblings were encircling it’s location from above, akin to a flock of vultures, getting ready for the kill.
Lara Croft couldn't have been more excited. After a little bit of digging and discovery, she had managed to find herself a big piece of information that would allow her to finally move forward to "Croatian." While she did have to agree that it was a bit of a stretch to hope for such things, she couldn't help it—the excitement of the possible information filled her with a thrill that she couldn't keep down. When was the last time she felt such an emotion? When things started to make sense in Yamatai? Or was it when she had put together pieces of a puzzle that it only just made justifiable sense? Regardless, Lara was psyched to get such things into gear and finally find her discovery.
Boarding the plane, she suddenly gained the sense of feeling that something might go wrong, that something might change her beliefs in things once more. Quickly shutting such thoughts down, she didn't think twice about it, knowing that whatever it is that fate had set out for her, she would take it—she had learned fully well from her time at Yamatai that whatever it was that life threw at her, it was a challenge just waiting for her to overcome. Once she had set her things down, she made sure she was comfortable just as the plane set off for flight. A few hours later into the trip when she was perusing the contents of her research, the plane shuddered as it underwent some strong turbulence. She didn't even get to grab onto a seatbelt when the plane shook hard enough that it bounced her up into the air, knocking her head against the ceiling before bringing her back down to the ground. Bracing herself, she tried to make her way toward her things, slinging her arms through her backpack's straps, making sure her papers and everything else was inside. With her guns still holstered, she tried to make a grab for something stable as she heard the blaring cries of alarms as the plane dropped once more.
The plane had dipped and was now free-falling to nothing.
A flash and the lights flickered off, followed by a deafening crackle of thunder that she could reverberate through her chest. They were in the storm with nowhere else to go. The plane lunged and jolted harshly to the side, knocking her free-falling form against the side of the plane, knocking her out-cold.
It wasn't until a little while did the young archaeologist wake up, groaning as she gently cradled the injuries on her head. Blinking, she noticed that there was nothing around her that told her of the crash or even anything so much as a speck to the fallen, broken pieces of the plane. It was just her. Mostly, it was intensely hot and she could only gather that she had fallen into some kind of desert, cliffs in the far horizon and what she could guess as to a city far, far away. Large boulders here and there hide her from passerbys (were there any), leaving her in a small patch of some cool shade.
Lara quickly checked herself over, making sure there were no injuries of any kind on her body. Relief came to her when she realized that aside from a couple of scrapes here and there with some soreness, she was otherwise unscathed. Standing up, she glanced around once more before deciding to see what else was over these rocks. Climbing up so that she would get a view of where she was, she observed with a sense of panic and realization that she was no longer in the same world that she had come from, but rather a different place... one that did not have her home country.
That was when she heard something cry out, her chocolate hues immediately darting toward the source. But she did not believe what she was seeing before her very eyes. Were those...? It couldn't be! She had only read about such things in books, in stories, in books of fiction! Quickly arming herself as it screeched out its approach, she quickly hid under a pile of rocks, hoping that they weren't the stereotypical kind of dragons that breathed fire. She could see from where she hid on the ground that their shadows were flying over her, going in circles like how a vulture did as they hovered over a carcass. Pleasant. But she could hear the sounds of horses, neighing the distance and gingerly strode out from her hiding place, warily approaching the silvery-blonde haired woman on a white horse. Cautiously, Lara appraised the woman, her hands resting on her dual pistols at her side while her back faced the crevices and paths of rocks behind her.
Gently, she spoke out to her, her tone cautious, "Hello... Would it be possible for you to tell me where I am?"
