i’ve always wanted a song like this. one that grooves this hard. in a kind of 70s soul way. horns, congas, and a bass line that just SLAYS me. this song feels like a celebration to me. like making-out with someone on an unmade bed at 4 in the afternoon, in july, with the windows wide open and the sound of the city spilling in. like walking the streets of new york, in the dead of summer, not hating or judging anything. just strutting your shit and being psyched.

the rest of the record is kinda heavy, lyrically. so it feels nice to have a song like this. to counter balance the weighty stuff. we’ve been playing it every night of this tour so far and it’s been ruling. anyway.. enough talk.
