I Kinda Hated Multiverse of Madness (Spoilers)

I was so hyped for the movie, but after Wandavision I’ve tried not to get too hyped with expectations about MCU stuff and just enjoy the ride.

I feel like nothing really happened. Nothing much progressed, the multiverse didn’t really give us anything new. Like cool, okay, Strange has been somewhat corrupted by the Darkhold, he’s off to engage in more multiverse madness in the future… but what about this movie? The only really crazy things were the spread out horror moments. The multiverse felt tame. AND NOTHING REALLY HAPPENED!!!!!!

I loved America Chavez. She was great. Variant Christine felt like she mostly could’ve been replaced with any other random character. They’ve really wasted poor Rachel McAdams in these movies.

And wanda.. my girl… Lizzie was amazing as always but for gods sake! Will they please commit to one thing or another. Either have Wanda become a proper villain and threat that carries over multiple movies and/or shows or let her become a proper hero. Stop doing the same thing over and over of her being the bad guy then realising she is and making everything right only to rinse and repeat. I’m over it. It’s tired and old and she deserves better.

Mostly I just wish it actually progressed things, especially in terms of the multiverse. Have utter chaos occur in the end. It would be so refreshing. It just felt like it lacked direction.

I’ve never hated any MCU project but man this just felt like such a waste of time (and money). It especially feels so dull after how awesome No Way Home was

One thing that bugs me about Multiverse of Madness is we’re supposed to believe this is a world in which Wanda can access any possible reality and is trying to find the perfect reality but she doesn’t even look for Vision??? We got like two mentions of Vision and that’s it. When Vision is one of the most important things to Wanda along with her kids. I just don’t understand why Wanda wasn’t looking for a reality with Vision and the twins??
