House of Cards Season 2 Opening Credits Comparison in Animated GIFs
A great TV intro brings us into the world and feel of the show. This can be done with music, voiceovers, clips of the actors, sound effects, and so on. What are some of your favorites TV intros and why?
Absolutely one of my favorite opening credits sequences right now.
It's actually been written about very eloquently here, so I don't have too much to add. But, like much of Kroll Show, it feels extremely current, more so than any other sketch show - maybe any other comedy show.
Here's the full version of the song sampled here (sent to me by The Daily Robot):
Oh, and here's this, too.
This is maybe a bit too long but who's complaining?
This song demonstrates, I think, the biggest problem TV theme mashups can encounter. When you're taking the show's theme song and stretching it out to be the length of a song, it had better not sound annoying on repeat.
This is my ringtone. I don't even watch Suburgatory.
I think we all wonder what conversations between Alan and Robin are like.
Lil Wayne is definitely the most popular artist to mash up with TV theme songs. Not That I'm Complaining.
The best part of this, for me, is that Lil Jon vacillates between dismissal of education and appreciation for it.
