hi friendsss i’m super late but it’s ya girl rina revamping an old muse of mine for ilsang! find out a bit more about park hyemi aka hailey under the cut and hit that ♡ button down below if you’d like to plot hehe

BACKGROUND

rich girl from seoul, basically

has an older brother but was basically raised as the conglomerate heir of her dad’s ent. company since she’d always been known to be a fast learner (read: one of those “good at everything” kids)

doesnt really have a personality outside of being her parents’ perfect golden girl 

kinda grew distant from her brother........then one day he just left home without a word and it made her distraught 

his absence forced her to admit that she’d been turning a blind eye to their parents poor treatment and blamed herself for it all

long story short, she found a brochure in his room to ilsang and jumped on the chance that she just might find him there even if there was no actual evidence that he even went there

not long into her arrival (i mightve put an actual length of time in my bio but who knows kjsfsd) hailey was wandering about town and slipped on one of the oil spills and fell. she got a headache so she returned to her room at the inn early

the next morning she woke up but didnt feel like she had any control over her own body

((( THIS ASSUMPTION WAS CORRECT BECAUSE SHE’D BEEN TAKEN OVER BY AN ALIEN HOST!!! good job hyemi ur so smart )))

now she’s behaving the complete opposite from how she normally is. always smiling and happy, curious about the world around her

v touchy. will fb poke war u irl just because. also a hugger. 

hyemi continues to attempt to win back her body (read: is constantly yelling at her alien) and still very much wants to find her brother 

OTHER FUN STUFF

hailey loves and adores all things pretty!! will very much get distracted by anything sparkly

will flirt with you, but in a clumsy way (think early 2000′s rom-coms)

did i mention that hyemi hates “hailey” lol

hailey picked up a job at cha ko latte bc she discovered the wonders of all sweet things and caffeine. catch her on her shift jumping around behind the bar off of 5 cups 

mayhaps a bit of a klepto?? just bc she’s curious about things, she’ll pick them up and take them back to her room to look at. sometimes she actually does put them back (but only if hyemi is yelling about how much of a mess their room is and that she does not need a random jacket from off the street sitting on their floor)

is what some may consider a ✨ditz✨

loves to look at herself and started an ig account against hyemi’s protests so that the whole universe can bask in how pretty she is

honestly if u know me u know i suck at plots but here are some ideas that can maybe spark some better ideas LOL

def her older brother (will probably put in a wc form to the main too!)

alien buddy - hailey is super excited to be hailey and she absolutely needs someone to share her experience with

i need someone who is sus of her and constantly trying to make attempts at exposing her but she somehow avoids them coincidentally bc of how silly she is

a cha ko latte regular who either just really likes her coffee or enjoys watching her act a fool on the clock 

another haedodi house resident. this is just for some housing plots maybe. perhaps they just eat breakfast together in almost silence (hailey constantly providing a commentary for her food) or they just walk home together sometimes

a first love - she’s only ever seen it in movies and dramas (that she’s been binging with ease thanks to hyemi’s netflix account) but she finds it so peculiar that humans would do anything for this situational feeling. she wants to give it a try! it’s not that hard, right?

why was she invited to the neighborhood get together? neither hailey nor hyemi could quite figure it out. if she were being completely honest, she often aired out 90% of what was being spoken to her at the cafe. someone has an issue with their coffee? smile and nod. another guest is very happy and talking about their day: smile and nod. a regular elder resident stops by for her usual cup of a blended green tea frappuccino to talk about a community dinner being held near yeonhwa-gil and she should stop by because she’s a new face and they’re all worried that she’s not taking enough care of herself at the inn all by herself and there’s a lack of youthful energy that they could use to lighten up the mood— you guessed it: SMILE ! AND ! NOD ! 

but what on earth to humans do at these things? in most of the dramas she’d binged, the main character only gets invited out to private luxury dinners by the main love interest’s family who then splashes water on her face to intimidate her! and the little one— 

my name is hyemi.

— has only ever been to fancy, formal, official events that were taken care of by catering companies. they both knew that something had to be brought, but what exactly? for the remainder of her shift, hailey pondered on the thought before finally reaching an exciting conclusion. 

once the time came, she approached the destination with a wide smile, paper bags and cup holders in hand. 

“hello aunties and young person who looks my age maybe older who knows i can’t tell! i come bearing coffee, tea, croissants, muffins, and bagels ala cha ko latte! please enjoy to your hearts content!” 

little do they know that you mean that literally— since you paid for none of it.

“hush little one, that’s a problem for a different day.” hailey mumbles through her teeth at her inner voice.

movie stars // haneul

this is going to backfire horribly. hyemi groaned at her body’s aimless wandering around the drive-in-movie lot. no, she didn’t know how to drive, but her body’s wallet had a driver’s license in it...so that was close enough, right?

you still don’t have a car, genius. 

“it’s okay! we’ll find one! haneul is cute, so he can do anything.” hailey giggled, walking up to any vacant cars she could find until one magically opened up for her. “see! so can you, little one!” with a celebratory clap of her hands, she quickly climbed in and made herself comfortable. “nice and clean.” she then proceeded to texting her movie date of which vehicle to meet her in.

ah, yes. the other human! hyemi seemed to want to befriend the other for some peculiar reason beyond her own understanding. “whatever gets you to stop yelling, little one.” hailey whispered quietly to her inner conscience.

“hello, welcome! are you ordering your usual? something new? you’re curious, aren’t you? about something new, i mean.” a sneaky smile slipped onto hailey’s lips as she studied the other, waiting for them to order without really allowing them to. (a habit she’d found herself stumbling into.) she liked to figure things out before being told the answer— a bit like a game! 

“we have three new drinks for a limited time, would you like to try one? they’re really cool and i think you’d probably like them. especially the yeonhwa-gil.”

let her speak. 

hailey sighed, allowing herself to pause for thirty seconds (she counted!) before continuing to resume her conversation once more. 

“SO, how about it? did you want to give it a go?”

we’re going carnivaling // chaeri

knock, knock. the commute from hailey’s room to chaeri’s was no longer than a minute seeing as they were on opposite ends of the haedodi house’s second floor. with the help of youtube tutorials and hyemi yelling out what not to do with her face, body, and hair, hailey was really getting the hang of the “getting ready” process that the humans were so concerned about. 

“life is a cakewalk when you’re pretty.” she hummed to herself as she rocked back and forth on her heels waiting for the door before her to open.

flattery will get you nowhere, alien. 

hailey rolled her eyes with a small huff. “oh lighten up, little one. you should love yourself more.” she absolutely loved how easy it was to look at herself with the assistance of the human phone. her reflection was always readily available at every given moment!

“chaeri!” she now called out through the door. “i’m ready to leave now!”

i wish those movies you binged all night taught you some manners. everyone must think that i am so rude!

“maybe that’s because you are?”

it has been no surprise to hailey that cha ko latte has picked up traffic in light of the founder’s day event. after all, she was finally setting into her place at the coffee bar, so it was only given that the amount of regulars coming to see her would grow. 

oh, and there was the whole thing about limited edition drinks too. 

“i guess.” she sighed aloud to herself, pretending to be busy just as she heard the ring of the door’s bell. hailey stared nonchalantly at the guest, not saying a word as she restacked a pile of cups together for the fiftieth time that day.

you really haven’t learned how to GREET your customers yet? 

how her host remained so pretty all these years despite her grumpy persona was beyond hailey. day in and day out it was the same grumbling over, and over, and over again! with a roll of her eyes, hailey then walked over to the counter, waiting expectantly for an order. 

OH! BUT WAIT! with excitement, she cut them off before they even got a chance to speak a word, holding her palm up in front of the seemingly younger’s face. 

“jeongsang park. yes, perfect. but there’s only one size, okay? because of the special sleeve. you can pay here. we take cash, credit, and mobile pay.”

😳 : you show up to CHA KO LATTE in hopes of getting a special cup sleeve only to find hailey claim that they’re “sold out” (despite being able to see the bulge of sleeves sticking out of her apron)

🎟 : hailey insists that she has never been to a carnival before and needs your help guiding her around the different activities

🎥 : drive in movies are so cool! it’s just like grease! except hailey cant drive and wants you to take her (you can list which movie night your muse wants to go to! otherwise it’ll be random based off what i can manage to put together lol)
