The Dyad is more than just a love story. It is purpose.
Two beings bound together as
one mind,
one heart,
one power - two becoming one.
As a power connected to life itself, it is perhaps the purest expression of the Force we have ever seen.
This is what the Sith spent generations searching for. It is what Palpatine sought throughout the entire saga, yet could never truly obtain.
But Ben and Rey did.
And that is why the Dyad is more than a plot device or a romantic bond. To me, it means something greater. It feels like a mystery still waiting to be explored.
What does a bond like this truly mean?
How does it shape their understanding of the Force?
And what happens when two people like Ben and Rey, who have spent most of their lives alone, suddenly find themselves connected in a way neither of them has ever experienced before?
Ben Solo had only just returned to the light.
Rey had only just found her place in the galaxy.
They were only beginning to understand what the Dyad meant.
That journey cannot be over yet. The Dyad is too meaningful to the Force and too unique to be left unexplored.
This is why I believe there is still more of Ben Solo and Rey's story left to tell - together, as a Dyad. 🦋
I don't have that much time to draw now, but here is my current WIP: stage 2... deciding between going full colour or just giving hints of it. Yan Zheng/Xie Zheng/ The Wind. I'll be Glad to read your thoughts about it if you like
I have written to Disney following the "The Hunt For Ben Solo" campaign..... oh my gosh! hahaha first time doing something like this.
Tell me, what do you think, will they read it? Do I have a convincing argument? what would you have said? should I have omitted something?
Feel free to copy and modify if you want to. The "Hunt For Ben Solo" campaign (www.savebensolo.com ) have also other two examples you can use (here) . I just wanted to do it differently. I wrote it in my native language and, naturally, translated it later and used an English style corrector to be sure it reaches the standard (as my professional English is not that good).
Here it goes:
Dear Miss Walden/Mr. Damaro
First of all, congratulations on your new leadership role at Disney!
My name is _____ , and I'm from _____, ____. As an artist, life long Star Wars fan and follower of the "The Hunt For Ben Solo" campaign (savebensolo.com), I am thrilled to see your vision for 2026 and beyond.
I'm writing to respectfully urge you to reconsider greenlighting the "The Hunt For Ben Solo" film project.
This isn't just a fan request; I really believe it is a high-caliber proposal to use the already existing script by Steven Soderbergh, as well as the commitment of Adam Driver, and the little private "marketing " they both already have started about it in the media. As you know, this project originally earned the approval of Lucasfilm’s leadership, recognizing its immense creative and commercial potential before it was sidelined by previous "risk-averse" decisions the fandom didn't understand (... nobody is ever really gone, isn't it?)
Beyond the narrative, I believe right now this story has a profound geopolitical relevance in today’s world. In an era marked by global turbulence and systemic disinformation, Ben Solo’s journey is deeply resonant. His arc—a character manipulated from childhood by a superior power—offers a vital reflection on accountability, the recovery of one's own identity after being in the dark, and the possibility of a "true" return to the light.
Exploring how a redeemed Ben Solo makes amends, navigates his past mistakes, and strives for societal acceptance provides a necessary dialogue for a generation grappling with similar themes of manipulation, moral recovery, and empathy. This project is a rare unifying force for a divided fandom, bridging generations and identities through a message of hope and mercy that the franchise—and the world—so desperately needs.
Just as Rey had faith in Ben to turn to the light, I put my faith in your leadership to take this creative leap. We (fans behind this campaign), trust in your vision to recognize the gold mine you potentially have and the powerful message that remains on the shelf.
Thank you for your time and for considering the heart of this global community.
May the Force be with you.
Best regards,

The Hunt For Ben Solo Fan Campaign:Uniting All Star Wars Factions for a Common Goal
So, as some of you know, The Hunt for Ben Solo was a movie Adam Driver and Stephen Soderbergh were working on for the last 2 years that just recently got shut down as a finished script by the top Disney execs. As many fans can attest, we are not pleased. Thus, I’m sharing this petition I found. Please sign it, it costs nothing, but if enough people sign it will hopefully help keep attention on this and convince people to continue pressuring Disney into reviving the film akin to Deadpool or Zack Snyder’s Justice League. I’ll also be making a video series explaining why this movie could be good if allowed to proceed.
Here I come again.... First drawing after 20 days ill at home. I have been reading AO3 fanfics again, in the middle of "You'll Be the One to Turn" (postedbygaslight) and enjoying it a lot. The action happens after Crait, but I couldn't resist drawing Ben waiting to be found after Exegol events
