The Killers in 2016: A Look Ahead

After going on hiatus for most of 2015, The Killers have a number projects on the horizon for 2016.

Announced on December 24, 2015, The Killers will release a coffee table book titled Somewhere Outside That Finish Line.  The book will examine The Killers’ 2013 ‘Battle Born’ World Tour.  The Killers collaborated with German photographer Erik Weiss on this project.  The coffee table book is currently scheduled for release on March 16, 2016.

Announced on December 7, 2015, The Killers will be the opening headlining act at the new Las Vegas Arena in downtown Las Vegas.  This show is currently scheduled to take place on April 6, 2016.

Through the above mentioned projects, The Killers are likely to keep working on their fifth studio album.  While little is officially known about their fifth studio album, The Killers have revealed that they are working with Flood and Alan Moulder again.  Brandon Flowers has indicated in interviews through late 2015 that in a perfect world The Killers may be ready to release new material as early as late 2016.
