‘Fire In Bone’ is now available for purchase, streaming, and on The Killers YouTube channel.
Fire In Bone
First listen: why?????
After 5 more listens: ok, it’s growing on me.
After listening to A Dustland Fairytale for a change: Got chills everywhere. Thinking I will never feel like that after listening to the Fire In Bone.
Back to Fire In Bone: it’s good, it’s groovy, but not a single material. Don’t see it with Caution as a one album concept, too much departure from it. Not a fan of first few seconds of it [producing-wise]. 6/10
Still love The Killers though. Still would scream the lyrics out at the concert.
The Killers to Drop ‘Fire In Bone’ On Friday April 24th
The Killers announced via their social media earlier this afternoon that ‘Fire In Bone’ will drop on Friday April 24th. This will be the second track from ‘Imploding The Mirage’ that The Killers have shared.
It should be noted that information in ASCAP indicates that ‘Fire In Bone’ was a fairly tight collaboration between Brandon Flowers, Ronnie Vannucci, and Stuart Price.
The artwork The Killers shared on their social media for ‘Fire In Bone’ is another Thomas Blackshear work- ‘Two Peacocks’.
Notably, The Killers social media posts refer to ‘Fire In Bone’ as an ‘album track’ so it may be possible this track is not a proper single and will not continue the short film that began with ‘Caution’.
