Judy’s front paws on the ground, she launches herself toward Nick, hopping into his embrace. Nick scrambles, four-legged, back arched, tail pointed straight outward, lifting himself off the ground only enough to reach the top of Judy’s head.

ZOOTOPIA 2 (2025): "Foxes are solitary."

I always wondered if part of the reason Nick was so quick to block Judy's view of his apartment is because he didn't want her to see the little corner he made for her & realize he has a crush on her. Something I noticed while watching is that Judy only sees the left side of his apartment!

However, when Nick first enters, we can see that his little Judy corner is to the right of the door! To avoid her potentially finding out about it, he nudges her out & effectively blocks her view with his tail, all while trying to play it cool.
