Hello Tumblr! My name is Taylor Smith and I am a 19 year old college sophomore! I recently started a GoFundMe campaign to help me pay for my Spring semester costs at college. The past 10 months have been nothing but ups and downs for me, on top of my college increasing our tuition in the middle of the year without acknowledging the students among other issues (HBCUs, am I right?), and it all has taken on toll on me. I was only notified of my financial situation from the school on December 15th, but I must be able to return to school in January. Because my Financial Aid only covers a portion of my costs, and my dad can only do so much in his position, I am unable to pay for school right now. All money raised will go towards my housing, tuition, books & classes, meal plan, transportation, and other campus fees. All money must be raised and paid to the school by January 6th in order to re-register for my classes and move back into my dorm. Any amount given is GREATLY appreciated. Thank you!
