“Oh my God it’s terrible” Trent replied with a laugh as he bumped into a guy talking about his sweater “ I think i need one. I’ll wear it the next time my band plays” He added.

“ I was there and now I’m out here. I’m a Loch Ness Monster, we can’t be out of water too long, it dries me out” Trent joked.He wasn’t being serious, but it was fun to play around in that way.

I’m not sure. I guess I’d have to put it up somewhere and then hide the ladder. Or some lopsided fire pit or something. Ah, you did, huh? Getting cocky is always your downfall. George seems like they’re pretty cool just in general, so that’s good. Maybe ditch the carpentry then, we need you to keep all your cool singer cred you can. Wait, who’s Harrison Ford? I don’t remember the name of it, but it was like a kids book where the guy walked around with all these hats on his head. And I think monkeys were stealing them or something. I don’t know.”

“Am I? That’s really cool. You’re my favorite girl if that matters? I guess so, better take advantage of it now. So is that like you saying you want to watch me eat?  a lopsided fire pit sounds dangerous, cause wouldn’t it fall out? But then again everywhere is a fire pit as long as you have lighter fluid Yeah, I didn’t mean to, I just went in confident a bit too much. I might have to. I can just stick to singing and eating food on the couch while watching 70′s cartoons. Those are my strengths.” Trent smiled before being surprised at Rain not knowing who Harrison Ford was “ What? No. Rain are you joking right now about that? Star Wars. Indiana Jones. That sounds familiar. Was the hat yellow or something?”

“And you grew up to be a good guy, too, just a hungry one. You might find it, but that doesn’t mean you’ll be able to get to it. Oh yeah! People who insist they totally got it and it’s a disaster, I’m sure they see those people a lot. Well, you’ve never tried, Trent, so really you don’t know if you can or you can’t. Maybe you’re actually like a wood working genius. You’re just going to have to wear all your hats all the time. Like that guy in that book.”

Yeah you think so? That makes me smile if that’s true. I’m always hungry. I’m surprised I haven’t gotten heavier. True. Where could you put it though that I can’t get without a ladder? Yeah like they come in with bashed hands and a half assembled deck. Yeah but I got cocky and assumed I could do it, but then realized I had no idea where to start. George was cool about with though. “Amazing. Maybe we can meet somewhere in the middle. I know it’s not really the same, but there’s a brand that sells pudding so it’s kind of the same. What are you thoughts on Jell-O? I kind of dig the kind that has fruit in it.”

“ I don’t know, man. I think were gonna have to just agree to disagree. Jell-o? Jell-O is aces. Comes in different flavors and is like super fun to eat too, you can’t go wrong. I like the fruit. Depends what kind though”

They work at the hardware store and we were talking about those people who try to build thing’s without help and it ends up a mess? “I’d eat everyone out of house and home. I think that’s why my mom wasn’t mad I moved out. There’s always the diner or the steakhouse to fill the void. I did learn I have no idea how to build  a hat rack apparently, so that’s not one of them “

“I feel like my body chemistry has, like, totally changed.” Rain explained as she grabbed more bags of chips of the shelf and cradled them in her arms. “I had a salad for lunch today and I feel like my stomach is eating itself. I used to live off veggies, you know? Have you seen the funyuns?”

“That’s because a salad isn’t a meal. It’s what you eat before the real meal gets there. It’s a food trick. The trick is it thinks it’s food” Trent replied looking for the Funyuns then grabbing a bag. “ Got em!”
