Later he would thank his quick reflexes in how he managed to catch her and hold them both up despite stumbling back a few steps. He laughed then as she covered his face with kisses. Once she was done he kissed her cheeks a few times before spinning them around. “I’ve missed you too Elesa.”

Elesa was more than happy in  being able to be back in her ‘hometown’ of Nimbasa. Always having to travel, while she juggled being a Gym Leader along with her career as a super model. Arms kept themselves around his neck until her feet eventually touched the ground. Hearing that he missed her really did bring a smile to her face.

If you think it would stop there you were sadly mistaken. The model was rather happy to see him, so much in fact... Arms threw themselves around him as she thrown h er weight into him. Less he holds her  they’re gonna be crashing down onto the floor while she litters his face with kisses.

“I’ll keep that in mind… Though how you manage to get past the depot agents.”

Not that they could stop her one way or another without some serious embarrassing repercussions to be made from Elesa. She had her ways in also slipping by unnoticed, which was surly a feat since the model wasn’t hard to miss in the least.

There was a soft, pleased hum made at the gentle kiss. Leaning up she would press her forehead to his.

‘Maybe I’ll tell you some other other secrets of mine if you’re good.’

It’d be a lie to say she never looked. Actually, she might still do that now and again just because its a force of habit to make the twins uncomfortable.

"Elesa... Would you like to come go on a date with me? Like, for dinner with me?" Ingo was blushing brightly and looked a bit hopeful.

Usually for them it was always rathrer casual visits between them when Elesa doesn’t pop up to chat or just tease him. There’s always so few occassions they’ve been alone. It actually got her excited being able to go on an actual date. Honestly, she had no time for it between her responsibilities & career. That and quite a lot of men really couldn’t work up the courage to even ask her.

‘Oh, my, my~

  A gentleman caller has come to court me.  So BOLD. It makes my head spin~!’

There was an airy laugh as she didn’t want to keep him waiting with an answer. He had worked up the nerve to actually ask...

Seeing a faint trace of pink on her cheeks actually makes him relax. At least he wasn’t the only one flustered right then. Plus, he was the one to fluster her and not the other way around! That was an interesting twist.

“Heh, I suppose so. Sometimes it’s the simple things that are truly the best.” Ingo smiled still and nodded. She was too persistent to escape.

“That’s true. I suppose I should just accept that fact hm? Then again… It’s kind of entertaining in a way to try to escape. Keeps things fun as Emmet would say.” 

Persistent in chasing, but did she really need to? A boggling question, but she’d just continue on as she usually did. Nothing wrong with some playful banter and shennigans between them.

‘An escape is nice. Speaking of--

The gym is closed for the rest of the month and no more fashion shows til next month-- So, feel free to come over when you get a chance...’

Some time to herself was great, but she wanted to spend at least a little of it with him even if brief.

Ingo blushed further and smiled. Normally this would be the part he would abscond but he was didn’t want to just leave after seeing her for the first time after all this time. Beside that, kissing her hadn’t been as awkward as he’d feared it would be. His arms remained around her waist as he managed to work up a bit more nerves to give her another quick peck.

“… That had been a fiasco so I’m amazed you enjoyed it all,” he gave an embarrassed laugh before shaking his head, “no I think I’ll stay. I missed you and there’s no point in escaping the mistletoe now.”

Usually she would expect it. But, he didn’t decide to flee to go take refuge in his office. It surprised her and even with the small peck it actually flustered the model for a brief moment as her guard was down. She doesn’t think she’s gotten shy in--oh, how long has it been?

‘Ha~ Well, sometimes I enjoy the simple things too, mm?’

Missed her, huh? He certainly didn’t hesitate to say that though they’ve known one another for so long. She couldn’t quite shake off this feeling in her stomach or what some would call butterflies.

‘ certainly missed you and Nimbasa~ Ah, you know by now you can’t escape me either way.’

‘Maybe, maybe not~ Depends on who wants to know.’

Between being a gym leader and fashion mogel--and Ingo running the battle lines dates were a bit scarce. Sometimes a nice dinner at home was good and comfortable. She would like to go out here and there, BUT far too much attention with paparazzi.

‘It’s complicated~’

Cliche to say it like some social media status, but it was in a sense. Sometimes it made sense and other times it didn’t. Well, at least to THEM.

‘For now, we just enjoy being around oneanother and I think that’s enough.’

Though she had some worries about media being all over that. Usually why she kept most visits short and a little discreet with some of her affection.

“… Well…. It’s not a complete fib this time…” He did have some paperwork but he was honestly much more interested in staying here now. Granted his mind seemed to completely blank as he was drawn down closer and he wasn’t all that upset with the development. 

Though it took him a moment to respond he did decide to show how happy he was to see her. Ingo’s arms wrapped around her waist as he responded to the kiss and then pulled back with a smile and hugged her close with a little spin.

Not a fib, but used often. Though, it wasn’t always so urgent now was it? 

This felt a lot more comfortable & familiar to her being in his arms. Sweet, sweet man~ Maybe she hadn’t quite meant for the kiss to linger for so long, but he wasn’t complaining about it. A soft hum was made against his lips before she slowly pulled her head back. Lips turned up into a smile.

‘It almost felt as nice when you kissed me in the dark~

There was an almost comical yelp as his tie is grabbed to whirl him around. Whatever retort he’d been forming died in his throat seeing just who’d stopped him in his attempted retreat. Well…. This was both a wonderfully happy moment for Ingo but also completely mortifying at the same time. A bright blush formed on his cheeks.

“I was um…. Going to finish some paperwork….” Yeah that lie wasn’t going to fly with her. Never did.

‘Nice try.’

May help if he found some different excuses other than paperwork. Oh, she just came back from the Winter fashion show and this just wouldn’t do. Elesa needed a much more proper greeting. Finger twirled his tie around her finger slowly.. Always so direct with this poor man, but it wouldn’t be Elesa if she wasn’t.

Thus, the inevitable contact of her lips pressing against his to link them together was made. Maybe it’ll give him some time to think on what he was going to do or not.

Someone was making a quick hasty retreat. Ah, but she can’t have Ingo ducking into his office,due to a little mistletoe. All the more reason to reach around him to grab his tie to whirl him around to face her.

If anyone was going to give him the first kiss under the mistletoe it was going to be her. Not that she ever needed a reason to kiss him.
