Drover lays motionless on the couch in MGSG @mgsg-cast-answers, having eaten her fill of the food provided. She runs a hand through her hair, which she lost even more of in the fight, and sighs.

"I look terrible." Drover mumbles and looks at herself in the reflection of her glass of water. Granted, the glass and liquid distorted her even more, but even through that, she could see the ink, blood, and dirt on her.

"Drover?"

Morgan leans over her.

"Whuh-! Oh, it's just you."

Drover wipes her face again, ink still staining it. She sighs, and dunks the entire glass of water onto her face, as if that would wash it off.

"Good evening, Morgan."

He leans down, rubbing his cheek against her face. The ink rubbed off her face and into his his before he wiped it off onto a towel.

"Cuddles...?"

"..." Drover thinks for a moment. In the fight, she'd most likely injured her ribs, but... she couldn't say no to this fish.

"Yeah, c'mere. But I don't know if I'm gonna ever sleep again."

"Malleus kinda freaked out on us. I've been dreaming for a LONG time.."

He carefully settles beside her, careful not to hurt her.

"You need to rest now, I'll keep you safe..." The mer proclaimed, seeming confident that if anything happened, she wouldn't have to worry.

He rubs his cheek on her head and exhales through his nose.

"Affectionate today, are we?" Drover feigns annoyance, scoffing under her breath. The color on her face betrayed her act.

"I seriously need to consider moving to this school. This is the seventh time."

He hums, gently touching her face. "That'd be nice... Then I wouldn't have to keep getting permission to visit you..."

At the contact, Drover's face turns even redder. What a tsundere.

"Yeah, yeah."

"Wait, you're telling me every time you come to NRC you have to get permission? Geez, the staff here must be sick of you, haha."

Her hand finds Morgan's hair.

He closes his eyes. "I don't care... I need to be near you..."

At his confession, Drover almost chokes, internally cheering and giggling like a schoolgirl. "Ugh, you're the worst."

She stifles a big, dorky smile.

"You're more of a remora than an octopus."

Drover flops down on one of the couches in MGSG, wiping ink off her face.

"You guys have any snacks..?"

"depends... Healthy snacks or... Good snacks...?" Lolita smirks.

"I don't care. I'm starving and I just barely avoided dyin'. One of NRC's students just had a meltdown."

She claps her hands together in an effort to get the ink off. "I'm tired, and hungry, and pissed, and I just wanna go home!"

( despite being very visibly unwell, in at least some form, Floyd has recently been noticed wandering around campus in uniform like usual…. Someone should probably stop him, right? )

"Uh, Floyd?"

Drover narrows her eyes at the merman.

"...You look less suspicious than usual. Did you eat something bad?"

“ ehhh? Less suspicious? Mmm… that’s mean, y’know~ “

( he grinned )

“ all it was, was a siiilllyyyyy li’l potion thingy goin’ wrong “

She blinks, her mind already racing with what sort of trouble he could have gotten himself into.

"What did you have."

"And is it really mean if it's true?"

“ it was just some weird ol’ pink potion. Some guy I got stuck with for makin’ it splashes some on me as a joke, ‘nd now I feel a li’l funny. No biggie~ “

A pause.

"Oh my God, there's a high eel walking around."

"Are there any other effects you know of? Do I need to drag you to the infirmary?"

“ heh? High? I ain’t high silly, ‘m Floyd “

( he grins like he told the best joke in the world )

“ but I mean… ‘m just a li’l warm… ‘nd dizzy. Nothin’ bad “

( he shrugs )

"...Hahah." She gives a pitied laugh.

"...Okay, Floyd-not-high, we're gonna go on a walk. Follow the leader, come on."

Drover begins walking to the infirmary.

“ oo!~ I love me some games, heheh~ “

( oddly enough, it doesn’t seem like floyd is being sarcastic… perhaps his perception or something similar is being affected too?… odd. )

"Good eel. Keep following me and there'll be something to squeeze when we get there."

Drover sighs, as she's once again found herself the caretaker of NRC's students. Though, she can't say she minds terribly.

"You like squeezing stuff, don't ya? Come on, you can do it."

It's as if she's now considering Floyd an excitable puppy.

“ mm? I getta squeeze somethin’? “

( floyd grinned, almost like a puppy being presented a chew toy… )

“ heheh~ What is it? Is it you? “

( he questioned eagerly as he continued to follow )

"Oh, it is NOT me." Drover chuckles. She swings open the door to the infirmary.

"yeah, Leech is super high off some potion..." She begins speaking to the infirmary staff.

"Hey, don't wander off!"

He looked confused, flustered, and happy.

"No, Morgan, it's for the King of Briar Valley." She scoffs, then takes a deep breath. Cut the sarcasm, Drover!

"Yes, it's... for you."

He beams.

"Thank you..."

He hesitates for a second before placing a kiss on her cheek. He then runs off.

"THANK YOU AGAIN!!"

"Gh-! Youuuuu!!"

Drover's face turns an impossible red, and she chucks the nearest rock at the fleeing fish. Missing by at least five feet.

"Wh-Where do you think you're going?!"

Morgan laughs and keeps running, holding the flowers close to his chest.

"LOVE YOU!!!!" He calls as he continues to sprint away.

"Oh, whatever!!" Drover rolls her eyes, running a hand through her hair.

'Yuu' adjusts her position to haul the leftovers from the last Scarabia party without much difficulty as before. This should keep her and the cat fed for the next week, assuming Grim doesn't eat everything in sight again.

She continues the trek from the Hall of Mirrors back to Ramshackle, and very nearly walks straight into Malficio.

It came out soft, utterly at odds at the towering man before them. He had his reasons of being out so late was obvious: star-gazing. A sacred tradition he held for many, many decades.

However running into this little human was. . . Unexpected.

Not unwelcome.

" Mm, quite the luggage you're hauling around and moving so fast — " His held tilted with the observation, " Spells disaster if you ran into anyone less careful, no? " Despite the warning, he seemed very very amused.
