A hopeful gaze is cast upon a demonstrative visage. Eyes, gazing into her brother. Sensing no lie from him, but his own pain, that mirrored her own. “You always were a good brother, Loki. I hope you know that.” She sighs speaking truth. “But how? Where do I even begin? - What about you?” Truth be told, the only reason that was keeping her here was Loki. Going back to earth would’ve meant not seeing him for most likely eons, until she has decided to come back again. The mere thought of it pains her. “I wouldn’t want to leave you.”
At her last statement he laughs through his teeth in exasperation. It’s not a pretty sound. Bitterness wraps its claws around his heart. ❛ All I ever wanted for you was to find your own path. And now I am the one to hold you back. ❜ How ironic, truly, he thinks, that the one person who should now feel enough disdain for him to leave his side would not budge. ❛ What use do I have here? If you won’t free me, go by yourself, Mina. I will follow you eventually. ❜ There was no way he would spend the rest of his life there, was there?
