his overalls were inspired by his baby design. i thought he’d lose his socks easily and get grounded for it, so he wears mismatched a lot. he’s a little boy so of course he’ll need bandaids, but he loves the rainbow ones or ones with cute characters as opposed to bland beige. and, of course there’s an apple! loo loo loo 🎶

i’m making an AU about butters!

a plague of nightmares is bringing the spirits of south park down, and butters has taken it upon himself to solve it! he has a toy wand that he uses in dreams, where he can use his strong imagination to defeat all things evil through.

the story is still a WIP, so please let me know if anyone is interested, and if so, i will keep this account updated with the things i create for this AU! i’m currently making a mini comic so if people enjoy this i will share it! (also i don’t expect anything of course, but i’d appreciate asks so you can help me define little details about this world!!!)

sorry, this brings me to a probably very long ramble—

i’m so tired of people arguing with fans saying the message is often “it’s cool not to care” just because they poke fun at extremism. even people saying it’s racist or homophobic are wrong. south park did so much for gays on television with big gay als big gay boat ride, it was close to unheard of to have a show say it’s ok to be gay like that, and theyve continued to show support for gays. and then, the message of with apologies to jessie jackson was that white people will never understand what black people feel like, and if they could they’d just ban the slurs or just do dumb shit like that lol. hell, they also get praised for their disabled representation because the characters feel like real, well rounded people and not just there to be disabled! or how about how wendy, a strong feminist, is painted in a good light in situations like the hobbit, fighting for little girls to not fall victim to self hatred? matt and trey passionately believe in the freedom to make jokes, and how nothing should off limits, but does that in any way make them horrible assholes? no! comedy should be seen as a good thing. we should come together and laugh, even at ourselves, not fight over what’s ok and what’s not all the time. humor should bring us together, that’s the beauty of comedy.
