Headcannon

Percy and Annabeth have a group of fangirls at camp who sneak around and follow the two around. They squeal silently in the bushes as the two have a picnic in the woods, pump their fists quietly when they see them kiss at a cafe, things like that. When Percy (eventually) proposes to Annabeth, the fangirls lose it. They squeal, cheer, and shriek as they surround the newly-made fiancés with wide eyes. Percy and Annabeth, who hadn't known about their secret watchers until now, look around in confusion at the group of squealing campers cheering about how they "finally got engaged" and how the fangirls have been waiting for this for months.

Imagine Rick is a demigod son of Apollo, but with a very special power. He can see the future. So the events of Percy Jackson and the Olympians that were written about in like 2008? They happened a few years ago. And the Trials of Apollo are happening at this moment. For all we know, Apollo could be fighting Commodus in the Waystation AS YOU'RE READING THIS.

Rather than saying "soulmate" or anything of the like, campers will just say "Percy" or "Annabeth."

Example: "I think we might be Percy and Annabeth." Or something along those lines.

And one day, Percy and Annabeth hear a camper say this to their partner. They look at each other, and Annabeth smiles at Percy. Then Percy throws Annabeth over his shoulder and runs off, yelling, "I've got the original!" while Annabeth laughs.

When Annabeth and Percy first meet and Annabeth says, "Is he the one?" She doesn't just mean, "Is the one from the prophecy?" She recognizes Percy. She knows him from years ago, when she was traveling with Luke and Thalia. A boy that she became quite close with. A boy she... might've caught feelings for.

You remember all the moments when Percy thought about him and Annabeth, safe in New Rome watching kids of their own run through the city? Those weren't just fantasies and dreams. They were visions of the future. And one day, years from now, Percy looks out and sees his kids, feels Annabeth's hand in his, and says quietly to himself, "I was right." He smiles and leans back in his chair, content that for all the things he's been wrong about, he was right about the most important thing.

Every relationship goal in CHB is just reduced to campers pointing at Annabeth and Percy and saying "I want that" or someone asks "What do you want in a relationship" and the person slowly turns toward Annabeth and Percy. You want someone who'd do anything for you? Percy and Annabeth. You want someone who could never forget you? Percy and Annabeth. You want someone who'll find you, no matter what it takes? Percy. And. Annabeth.

The only goddess invited to Percy and Annabeth's wedding was Hestia since she was one of the few gods that the two actually liked. A couple of campers told them that they should invite Hera as a way to make sure the two would never broke apart. They denied this idea, as they both knew that they would never leave each other's sides again. They're never getting away from each other again. (See what I did there?)

Percy would always steal Annabeth's hat. He would slip it on and run away, chuckling uncontrollably. Eventually, once he had his laughter in check, he would sneak up behind Annbeth and kiss her before running off again. This would happen a few more times until Annbeth would finally catch Percy and get her hat back.

Annabeth has Tumblr on her phone. One day, she stumbles upon a Percabeth drawing. She blushes and shows the drawing to Percy. He blushes too, and she continues scrolling. Eventually, Annabeth's feed is full of Percabeth art and headcannons, and Percy has seen the majority of them, all of which call the two "Percabeth." When the two have their first child, Percy begs Annabeth to name their child Percabeth.

Annabeth told Percy she liked the gray strands in their hair because it felt like they had another connection. Percy agreed, and said that he somewhat missed them. Now, the two get one strand of hair dyed gray every now and again, so they can have that connection again.

During The Last Olympian, when the one kid says "No detours, you two" after Percy puts himself and Annabeth together for part of the defense, the moment becomes well known across CHB. Eventually, whenever just the two of them leave, it becomes customary for one person to yell out the same line. One specific day, the two return to camp late, and the same camper who, earlier, yelled the line, runs up the the two and says "I said no detours!" And the camp bursts into laughter.

When Percy proposed to Annabeth, the camp erupted into cheers as she started crying. The dryads, however, didn't understand what was going on. They stared in confusion as the rest of the camp cheered. After everyone had calmed down enough, he called "And for those who don't know what just happened!" Percy pulled an apple out of his pocket and tossed it to Annabeth, and the cheers started all over again, this time with the dryads.

Okay, so you know how Dionysus always refers to Percy as "Peter Johnson"? Well, a new camper shows up one day. The camper's name? Peter Johnson. Percy is told to show the kid around camp, and he is constantly asked who his new companion is. Every time he mutters "Peter Johnson," people burst into laughter. Eventually, the pair come across Dionysus himself, and he asks who Percy is showing around. "His name is Peter Johnson," Percy mutters under his breath. Dionysus extends his hand to the boy and says "Welcome to Camp Half Blood, Percy Jackson" and snickers are heard all around.
