[10-5-16] Sprite needed some time to jump around and be a spazz outside of his tank. This kid now weighs 32 grams! He’s catching up to Rubix and Gigs!

Mhysapoops got out of her cage somehow and we lost her for a few days. Luckily my partner had an idea on how to find her, so we set into action:

Shut all the doors, windows, and access points to contain her to one room, whichever that may have been.

Picked up ALL the throw rugs so we wouldn't have the chance of stepping on our sweet baby had she wanted to curl up under a fold.

Set out food and water in several locations around the house. We hoped this would keep her going if we couldn't find her for a week+

Then we made a couple dozen moist hides and stashed them ALL around the house. We made at least 30, which is a lot, but the more you make the better chance you have of catching a critter. We proceeded to check them every 2 hours while we were home, and on the second day we found her licking up the water droplets from one in the bathroom. So happy to have her back...

Tagging this as 'Lost gecko' in hopes it will help someone else find their little Houdini.

Looking for reptiblr people to follow!!

Can you do a tutorial/ref to the different type of snake heads? I've noticed that Python heads seem to have one shape, but other species will have other shapes, and I was wondering if you could do a handy guide to the different sort of snake faces.
