My love in reading

We read a few books together, while some of them she wanted me to read to her. So I did. Including one about a bar in Vehmersalmi. After that she wanted to go bake some cakes and prepare desserts so we also did that. After a few hours, I thought she would already leave me alone but she wasn’t done. She wanted me to watch a few movies with her. Of course, being the kind uncle that I am, I did not refuse her. How could I? She’s such a sweet little girl. After a while, I came to accept that my schedule for the day was ruined. I had initially planned to go to some casino downtown to get myself some fun time in. However, being the creative genius that I am, I opted to play online instead.

Online Ninja

I hope you didn’t think I was limited to gambling in places where there are lots of people. Nope, This Gambling Ninja takes over all types of platforms. I was at the house the other day with my niece who just got back home from school. She said she wanted to hang-out with me so I acceded to her request.

I didn’t want my niece to watch me play so I sent her out with her friends at our neighbor’s house. When she was gone I hacked away at the keyboard and found Caesar’s Online Casino. I still prefer the real casino games with the real people but this was the closest thing I had today. So I took my chance at it. The good thing about online casino gaming is that the same rules apply. So of course I won a lot. The only thing I regret is that I didn’t get to see the faces of those people I played against when I beat them absolutely penniless.

Lucky or expert?

There’s no such thing as being an expert at being lucky. That’s just dubious.  However, there is one thing you can do to be somewhat consistent in this activity: cheat. I don’t mean that you go out there and be absolutely bold about it, of course not. What I’m telling you is that you need to learn how to cheat subtly. Well there’s actually just one type of gambling I know how to cheat subtly at: cards. How do I do it? You guessed it, by card counting. I know, I know. You have probably been told that it’s too difficult and that’s it’s only for geniuses. Well, it’s true. But I have some news for you. You can be a genius yourself overtime. You just have to practice.

Card counting is a casino card game strategy which is used primarily in the blackjack family of casino games. It is utilized to determine whether the next hand is likely to give a probable advantage to the player or to the dealer. They call card counters as advantage players. Why? That’s because they attempt to decrease the inherent casino house edge by keeping a running tally of all high and low valued cards seen by the card counter. Card counting allows players to bet more with less risk. I’m telling you man, it’s not that hard. Well it is hard, but do you want to get rich or what? Then start counting!

Something Blazing

I was feeling kind of adventurous today. I wanted to get out of the way of my usual card and board games. I wanted to gamble on slightly different things this time. Well maybe much different things, actually. I wanted to try out gambling in horse races.

Be a battle ready.. read this

So I went out the other day, strapped my boots on, and got myself battle-ready. I went to a facility called Palm Meadows Race Track. I then talked to the officials and got my money in. I betted on horse number 21 named Silver Blaze, and boy was he a sight to be seen. I’d marry that horse if only I could turn her human. She gave me more money than I could carry back home. That was another hit by the Gambling Ninja. And things have only just begun. Nobody knows where and when I’ll strike next, not even me.

My fascination

My fascination began when I was a little kid. I would go with my father to local carnivals, cockpits, racing stadiums, sports matches, you name it. I never participated in the games or with the gambling, of course, but I didn’t go there to waste my time either. It was there that I studied the mechanics of the gambling process. From the choices people made with their attires, with their cronies, down to the choices they made between their betting options. I studied how people deal with probability in an environment where everybody wants each other’s money. Eventually, I got good at it. I got really good at it.

Ninja is receded back to darkness

I get in a poor man and get out several thousand dollars richer. Anonymity is the key, my friend. When people don’t know who you are, they are likely to underestimate you, and when they underestimate you, they put a lot of money on the line. And then I take it, all of it. They never know what hit them every single time. They won’t even know my name. They just remember me as the phantom of the night. The ninja, who has receded back to darkness, receded with all their money.

The Way of the Ninja

Gambling is not a sport, but it sure is a whole lot of fun. The thrill of never knowing how things might end up gives me a rush like no other activity can. I am Ozzy Dennett and I am the Gambling Ninja. Well, I like to call myself that. I never go to any single casino or gambling pit regularly. Instead, I visit several gambling locations every other day in order to keep my identity anonymous.
