Disco Elysium animation 🕺
Different layers of animation in Spine2D.
Level 9 portrait for my Curse of Strahd / She is the Ancient witch boy, Victoro di Terzo.
With his messed up eye that got* poked out by his raven and replaced by a weird eye with three irises.
*"got" as in he did it himself XD
All previous portraits done for respective level ups:

✨🪩Disco Dragons🪩✨
i recently finished disco elysium and was compelled to put tarquin in kim's jacket. followed shortly by giving ashur snakeskin shoes. which ballooned into a crossover nobody asked for
ashur shares nothing in common with harry, but i find identity crisis (viper, divine, ashur) and memory loss very compelling in a mystery. also tarquin with gun. đź‘€

not only are most people completely unaware of the devastation of indigenous languages in the americas, most people are completely unaware of the devastation of indigenous languages in europe. never mind occitan, they don't know about basque! it's wild! bleak! existentially horrifying!!!
the last few centuries of french history involved, amongst other things, a concerted effort to establish "french" as a legitimate country and cultural identity, and crucially as a language, which sounds like an absurd statement if you know nothing about the languages of france. french is a language, yes; it exists and existed in the late eighteenth century. but it was limited primarily to the north of france and was certainly not spoken or even understood across the country. other languages within france were banned and french was enforced following the french revolution and even to this day other languages indigenous to france have very little legal protection and are not recognised as official languages.
that's just one country in europe. one. and many people straight up have no idea about any of this!
did you know france has celtic languages? breton is the only celtic language spoken outside of the british isles. did you know france has germanic languages? alsatian, for example, is spoken in the east of france, unsurprisingly in alsace. it's not even the only french germanic language. did you know france has a number of languages and dialects known as langues d'oïl closely related to french? norman and picard, for example, are spoken in the north of france. did you know that france has gallo-romance languages? franco-provençal (which has a number of dialects) is spoken in the east of france, as well as parts of switzerland and italy. did you know that france has a language most closely related to catalan, the langues d'oc? occitan is spoken in the south of france and has a rich literary history. did you know france is home to basque, or rather euskara, a language isolate which predates indo-european languages? romani dialects! corsican! so much more than just french! there are even extinct jewish dialects of occitan! extinct langues d'oïl like angevin! so much linguistic diversity and all anyone talks about is french.
So apparently, summer depression, like winter depression, is a thing. And I feel validated. There's nothing that makes me happy about summer: more sun? I hate that. Warm weather? It's never just warm, it's always too hot. More light? It's depressing to me.
I love a chill weather with the sun starting to fade at 16h or 17h, I love going for a walk with the right amount of clothes to not be cold and enjoy being outside without feeling sick or without having to think about sun exposure. I love spending time on my couch, comfortable under a plaid, and doing whatever I'm doing without feeling like I'm having a fever or something.
And yes, sometimes I'm cold because the insulation in my apartment is utter shit, but it's easy to shield yourself from the cold at home without blasting the heater. In summer, it's impossible to make it so your colder than your environment. There's no escape.
It's the norm to hate winter and cold but somehow, if you hate summer and heat, you're weird, and you better not complain. Only people who hate cold get to complain.
im a fake fan of everything i like because i cant remember anything
Every time I watch a video with tips to dress depending on your body type, it never works. Most of the women making these videos are thin and never take into account bigger bodies, even if their advice are neutral. In this society, bigger bodies are not neutral. And watching the male counterpart wouldn't work as my body is very much female.
Then you have women with bigger bodies themselves making the same type of videos... but falling into the same patterns: dressing for the trends. Also, aggressively dressing for their gender, but that's another thing.
I should look into genderless/non-binary people doing the same thing but it's always so fashion oriented, statement pieces, dress to impress or whatever.
Today, the European Parliament allowed the suspicionless mass scanning of private communications ("Chat Control 1.0") to pass, a measure it
What changes with the return of Chat Control 1.0—and what stays the same: What is coming back: US tech companies are once again allowed to scan private messages without a warrant or prior suspicion. This affects direct messages on platforms like Instagram, Discord, Snapchat, Skype, and Xbox, as well as emails via Google’s Gmail and Apple’s iCloud. What remains unchanged: Public social media posts and files hosted in cloud storage could already be scanned without this law. Furthermore, private messages can always be reported by users, or monitored by authorities using targeted, court-ordered wiretapping. What is still NOT being scanned: End-to-end encrypted chats, such as those on WhatsApp, have always been exempt from these scans. Additionally, European providers of messaging and email services have never implemented chat control measures.
To my fellow Europeans, please keep fighting this. This is not about children's safety, we all know those who voted for Chat Control don't give a single fuck about children (quite the contrary even). It's about giving the US, and their allies from hell, access to our lives, they let them infiltrate every single tiny space of our privacy, more than we already do on our own.
Spying on private messages DOESN'T WORK. Now they'll use this to say they put solutions in place to protect the children and won't do anything else. The children will still be in danger, they designed the entire system that way.
