我最开始画这个的想法来自一个游戏实况的视频，原本想让真mamiya作为赛博幽灵攻击mikage的电脑（但对于1997年的电脑来说电脑病毒可能不切实际）。不如就让mamiya做一个大家都看不到的传统意义上的幽灵吧。

死去的mamiya无法相信nemuro的变化，也无法相信另一个自己的存在，所以在他眼里的另外两人是黑色的。

Please help me interpret this scene. I haven't actually never thought about it properly, but now I saw that excellent post from @absolutebirth how there's a scene where his professors pay him for a paper he ghostwrote for them and now I'm seeing this whole situation of Mikage in new light. I didn't know that this was about it (if it was?)

Like, what is he actually? Nemuro was a professor (or at least somewhat project coordinator who was called professor). But Mikage is a leader of some shady seminar, that is apparently appreciated but also very vague. It is interesting what kind of person Mikage has constructed himself (or Akio has constructed him) in the larger context of the school. Like here we have this "genius" who can do almost whatever he wants, even professors are admiring him, but he is still somehow indifferent. Why are everyone admiring him so much? Why is he considered to be such a genius? What are these adult figures seeing in him? (Or what kind of object of certain treatment has Akio made of him...?)

I don't know if this really helps but I recently started thinking that the Mikage seminar might have been created with the goal of finding a new set of 100 boys. In episode 22, Nemuro refers to the boys as a group of “extraordinary" people; and Mikage says that he intends to use the seminar to bring together "special" or "extraordinary"students: this made me think that Mikage may have founded the seminar with the intentions of starting his search for eternity again with a new set of sacrificial lambs

Thanks to my whining in the prev post about not being able to get a Touga, a kind fan reached out to help! Feste's scans were honestly superior to the ones I can do because of the weird way the plastic scans, SO YES I ASKED FOR MORE. Most of the scans for this set are thanks again to feste, with Utena, Anthy, and Saionji being the only ones I had to scan. There is, YET AGAIN, another set of these coming, which feste and I are already on top of. Which is great, because I'm tapped out of spending hundreds of dollars to get the blind swap acrylics second hand.

In the meantime, these new ones can all be found in the Chibis section of The Utena Gallery, where you can download the full size chibis and their matching acrylic cards. (If you really need to see those from within Tumblr, get under the cut!!)
