”Alex just sauntered in here and took over,” praises cast mate Julianna Margulies. ”She’s such an explorer — I mean, this is a woman who’s already seen more of L.A. than any of us. She goes on long car trips by herself just to see some mountain she’s heard about, and then she’ll end up spending a week there. She has an incredible willingness to learn about life.” (x)
Alex Kingston called David Tennant "daddy" at his livestream q&a this weekend and I felt that at a cellular level.

Alex Kingston here makes a blazing return to the London stage in the role. (x)
Nevertheless, there are entirely gripping and persuasive performances from Alex Kingston as the mother and Ben Edelman in a lacerating study in teenage disenfranchisement as her son…(x)
Alex Kingston shines in intelligent new satire Admissions (x)
These scenes also shine because of Alex Kingston and Margot Leicester who put in detailed, nuanced and believable performances. Kingston is barely off stage throughout the whole thing and yet the show still feels like an ensemble piece – always the sign of an excellent lead performer. She manages the complexity – mother/worker/human – of her role beautifully.Sarah Hadland, as Sherri’s friend is also great in a generally very strong cast. (x)
But there is first-rate work from Alex Kingston as his anguished mum, Sarah Hadland as her distressed best friend…(x)
The performances across the board are strong, most notably from Alex Kingston who shares some agonising moments with the audience as we see her rearranging her thoughts and reactions to maintain her idealised image of herself. (x)

Is there any prospect you rejoining and you will be married to, well it will be to Jodie Whittaker now?
Yes, absolutely. Another layer. Another one of those stacked layers. I’d love to. I mean who knows. Who knows.
