okay so my gorillaz writing has been sidetracked and taken over by my personal, non gorillaz themed writing oops. iām applying for creative writing courses to do after school and just practicing - i might post some on my other blog or something
i have a 2D one for yāall tomorrow or tonight (either 14/06/18, or 13/06/18)

Aceās Relationship with the other band members!

Noodle:
- Ace and Noodle obviously get along well, if the Gorillaz instagram suggests anything
- He reminds her of 2D when she was a kid, the knife, the ridicolous clothes, etc
- Theyāre probably the most similar in age, too
- Noodle probably chose his boots for the humility video
Russel:
- Russel is... indifferent to Ace.
- Russel pretty much sees him as a replacement to Murdoc; something temporary
- He isnāt cold to Ace though, he does engage in conversation and listen to what Ace has to say in the band but heās still just a replacement
- Offers Ace advise on how to improve his music skills, and compliments him a lot
- its an acqauintance relationship at this point
Murdoc:
- probably doesnāt know heās been replaced. with his god complex and all, he probably believes that Gorillaz just disbanded.
2D:
- Probably met Ace back in phase 1, didnāt tell anyone though
- they kept in touch througout almost everything, and 2D helped Ace with his love for music
- When Murdoc went to jail (again) and they needed a new Bass player, 2D spoke up & was like āhey i know someone..ā to which the band were like ā??? you know people??ā
- Theyāre very close in a kind of shallow way, like they donāt know everything about each other, or even prefer each others company most of the time but theyāre still closer than most people
Ace:
- feels he was pretty lucky to have met 2D and then the rest (excluding Murdoc)
- he was probably a little nervous when 2D suggested he join the band, since yāknow the Gorillaz are a Big Deal but he did nonetheless
- gets along relatively well with everyone despite being an edge lord. but who can blame him? that was Gorillaz image for so long, he fits in perfectly.
- REFUSES to let the band call him āpickleā

Ace Relationship Headcanons:
- well, Aceās life has certainly changed since his Gangreen Gang days, and youāre a part of that change
- lets you mess around with his knife almost whenever you want but he wants it back almost as soon as your hand goes near the actual blade
- a bit of a hothead, esp in arguments. best if you wait until heās calmed down to try approaching him again
- Has a horrible taste in flowers. its just awful, really. BUT that doesnāt mean he doesnāt try to buy ones youāll like. if anything, you like the sheepish look on his face as he hands them over to you rather than the flowers themselves
- He keeps a polariod of you two in his wallet at all times. maybe three if theyāre all cute
- Probably not a fan of big fancy dates so instead he takes you to basketball courts for dates, hoping theyre still romantic. bless his soul, heās really trying
- He only likes to cuddle in the winter otherwise he overheats but oh boy is he clingy in the winter
- Got you a matching pair of sunglasses so you two could match
