you need a bigger tank for your betta, he needs a full sized tank and no other betta fish in it. Please read up on their property habitats and then move him to a proper one.

A betta fish tank needs to be at least one gallon, however five is ideal. The tank goose lives in is one gallon

Betta fish often live in the water in Chinese rice fields, which are only a few inches deep.

The reason why people get betta fish is often because of the fact that bettas don't need much maintenance.

If a betta is unhappy or unhealthy, it shows physically. Their fins will look bad and their color won't be as vibrant

I only have goose and no other fish. I am fully aware that if I had two males they would kill each other (unless they spent their whole lives together) and if I had a male and a female they would most likely mate

I change gooses water every week, feed him the moment I wake up, and check up on him every time I'm in the room. I can assure you he is happy and healthy in his current tank, which also has a filter in it btw

Goose is doing just fine and if I ever suspect he isn't, I will always do the research to check and do as much as possible to make sure he is okay.
